Reward points

Recommended Posts

I have to say, this is a great module and has been received well by customers and is working great on the site.

I already had a customer (via support ticket), who could be long winded, stating that he would stop replying now as he was 'losing points'.

I would love to see the option for customer's to be rewarded for closing tickets themselves.

Sure, more options mostly depends on whmcs hooks availability. If whmcs developers add hook that will be executed on "Client Ticket Close" or "Ticket Rating" I will add these options.

Currently in roadmap for next release is option to reward paid invoices based on paid amount. So, client that spend more money will gain more points :)

This would be very welcome as customers are ordering basic packages and then upgrading one package at a time and even registering domains separately then ordering hosting accounts on another order to increase their points.

We also need to be able to login as customers (admin) and have the system recognise the difference between us logging in, and the customer logging in.

Unfortunately that depends on WHMCS itself and when "ClientLogin" hook is activated. Currently this hook is activate every time when you login to the client area, no matter does is via admin area as admin or via client area login page as client.

If and when WHMCS developers separate those two logins, be sure that I will update module to recognise admin and client login.

Hi,

Would it be possible for the points to be issued on a percentage basis rather than it being fixed across all products?

ie. at the moment if someone buys something for $1.00 they get 1 point - if someone buys something for $100.00 they still get one point - it would be better to award the point on % basis - so the person who buys the $100 product gets more points than the person who buys the $1.00 product.

Hi, We lease your program and we like it and the updates you are doing are even better. One thing i was going to say was about the % as stated above. But with that being said my other thing is can you make it to where we can add points randomly to an account and put why. Just like the invoice page. You put in why they got the points and how many.

Also would be nice to were you can add point with out having to have them earn at least 1 point.

1 other thing. This would make a nice add on a shopping cart that is linked so that clients can buy stuff using their points in a store. Having this all automatic would be good.

Thank You,

RIHOSTS

This really is a great piece of work that I shall certainly wish to use when I am ready. I love it!

Meanwhile, an idea or two for your consideration:

1. Award points for all those occasions when a client does not contact support but, instead, self-solves their own problem by searching the Knowledgebase?

2. Award points for each month where no support is required?

3. Award points for clicking any specified link? Follow on Twitter, FB, visiting support Wiki or whatever. (Lots of possibilities here)

4. Award points manually for any reason - good reviews, site of the month or whatever?

5. Award points for any desirable, pre-specified cPanel usage - 'strong' passwords, etc?

6. Award points for pre-specified CPU, inode usage, etc? Basically incentivising awareness and self-responsibility.

7. Award points for converting to GoogleApps (manually)? (Server load and email management reductions.)

8. Award points for opting in to receive regular promotional emails?

Anyway, these are just a few ideas off the top of my head on-the-fly whilst working and I apologise in advance if I have missed any specifics already mentioned above or misunderstood what is already available/planned, etc.

All in all, just so much potential, the mind boggles.

Subscribed! :-)

On the rewards points page i see:

--------

Loyalty Points can be exchanged for credit in your account after you have more than 0 free points.

Currently you have unused points, free points and locked points.

The value of unused Loyalty Points is $0.00 USD.

-------

so if they have no points could it not say 0 or not even show the 'currently you have ...' line.

next, in the client area I get a broken image ....

<div class="contentbox"><img src="../modules/addons/reward_points/images/rewardpoints-icon.png" style="margin-top: 1px;" align="texttop" border="0" height="16" width="16"><a href="rewardpoints.php"><b> Loyalty Points</b></a> Today: <span class="textgreen"><b>0.00</b></span> This month: <span class="textred"><b>0.00</b></span> This year: <span class="textblack"><b>0.00</b></span><br> Total: <span class="textblack"><b>0.00</b></span> Available: <span class="textgreen"><b>0.00</b></span> Used: <span class="textred"><b>0.00</b></span> Expired: <span class="textblack"><b>0.00</b></span> Locked: <span class="textblue"><b>0.00</b></span></div>

you need to remove the ../ obviously i can't since the hook for that is encoded.

Minro? Can you guys make a add on that would allow to add a fee for a clent to ussusspend their account. Something that will auto add to their bill.

Thanks

Sorry, I must say that I don't understand you clearly what you want.

Where to add fee, existing invoice / new invoice / client credit?

When, before unsuspend / after unsuspend?

We are looking for something that would allow for a fee to be added when an account is suspended. Something like a late fee but one thats added when suspended. Say like a $x.xx fee for them to un suspend their account.

We want it to ad to their bill so they must pay it when un suspend their account.

Its got to be all automaticly added to the bill.

You can email me at dlallier@rihosts.com if you need more info on what i mean.

Thanks

Dave

After only a few days from last version, we need release the new version of WHMCS addon module "Reward Points", because one major bug has been discovered.

►Fixed issue with automatically conversion and opening ticket when admin is not logged in

►Added new tab "Log informations" where are displayed all requested conversions

►Added "WHMCS API username" field to the addon configuration

New options under addon config:

►WHMCS API username : This field is REQUIRED if "Automatically convert" and "Open New Ticket" options are enabled.
