carlosrms
How do I set a default email template? I need to insert a html code on the top (header) and bottom (footer) of all emails sent to admin and customers. I tried to edit the file "viewemail.tpl" but only changed the display of email on client area. And it's too much work to edit every template in "Admin Setup > Email Templates", for if there is a change that would change them all, over again. Thanks.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted May 5, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted May 5, 2011 It's not much work at all, you could copy and paste your customisations into each email template in 5 minutes.
carlosrms
It's not much work at all, you could copy and paste your customisations into each email template in 5 minutes. But it could be simpler ... For when any change has got to do it all again.
carlosrms
But it could be simpler ... For when any change has got to do it all again. There are 42 e-mail templates! Even if it's 30 seconds to paste each one, I'll take 20 minutes! Do not have a sql string to facilitate the rapid replacement of all? Tks
zomex
I agree that it could be simpler but I think most users won't edit the email templates to this extent so perhaps not the biggest demand as an update.
