dprayer
Hi All At the moment when a customer orders, everything is fine.. it does the order and payment etc,etc.. everything is active and working, but in the WHMCS admin panel it states Pending. I seem to have to manually change to Active, is there a way to make it change automatically as soon as the account is set up. Probably something i am missing somewhere. Thanks again
CW2305
I have been struggling with the same issue. Not only is the order pending, but the hosting account isn't set up automatically. Even though the product is set to "Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received". Under the Pending order, this is displayed with details filled in: Username: Password: Server: Run Module Create Send Welcome Email It is waiting for Approval before setting the account up. Even though Payment status is 'Complete'. I have checked all settings and can't seem to find anything off. The server drive was replaced a couple of weeks ago. Would that have affected anything? Thanks for your time.

CW2305
Thanks, David. I still have the problem of automatic setup not happening. To quote the page you linked to: "It is important to note that while all orders are pending until activated, the items in that order - hosting accounts and domains - will be automatically activated based on your auto setup options and auto registration options. So if you have them set for instantly upon payment that will be done while the order remains pending. This is to ensure you manually review each order you get. " This was working OK until I don't know when. I'm wondering if there is an issue with the PayPal IPN?? C.
CW2305
Actually, I realised I could check IPN history in PayPal - the payment notifications for the orders in question were sent to the /modules/gateways/callback/paypal.php, according to PayPal. I'm not sure where to take it from here.

Setup > Products / Services > Module Settings > Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received should be selected. Also, just above that, it says module name. Tell us what you have in there.

What do you do at that point in order to allow auto access on first payment?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted May 9, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted May 9, 2011 In that case you'd use the Auto Release module: http://docs.whmcs.com/Auto_Release
ipxcore
So this is just for fraud prevention? Edited June 17, 2011 by ipxcore
m8internet
I use the pending orders to make sure the orders are processed and completed The account is setup automatically with the Domain Names placed in to-do-list Once I have read this I then accept the pending order A few weeks ago I had a customer place an order but did not make a payment I sent an email advising them that the payment had not been received No response and so the order was cancelled My personal issue is that the main link only shows todays pending orders Finding older pending orders takes some doing!
