kctan
Hi, I would like to add 1GB space to one of my client without charging them, is this possible? Is the procedure the same if I want to charge them for the additional 1GB space? Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
zomex
Assuming you're using cPanel/WHM the easiest way to do this would be inside WHM. As you're not charging for it there isn't really any need to involve WHMCS. You may wish to add a note on the clients profile though.
kctan
Thank you, zomex. So if I were to charge for the 1GB space, then the only way to do this is to create a new package, am I right?

You could also setup overages in WHMCS meaning when someone goes over their plan they are charged extra per GB. You wouldn't need to create a new package. You could change the recurring amount on their account in WHMCS to compensate for this.
Administrators WHMCS John Posted March 31, 2011 Administrators Share Posted March 31, 2011 Personally I'd just adjust the client's Recurring Amount value, then if you want to pro-rate them for the extra gig between now the the Next Due Date, just manually create an invoice for it.
