arctic-ice-cool
Hello I have a maxmind account and it's started affecting new orders. The initial order process is meant to complete and setup the hosting account after payment is recieved. I know that the order remains as pending, for manual review - but the account and all deliverables are setup, along with notification email of account setup. HOWEVER, Since I moved from a reseller account today to a Dedicated Server (all IP address/license issues have been sorted by myself and are correct), when a new order is submitted, the order is taken successfuly, even setup correctly and everything is setup and all emails are delivered to the customer. The ONLY difference is that now in the client WHMCS area, the "My Services" section shows the account as "Pending" when in fact it has all been setup automatically and emails sent? This may confuse new customers (not a good impression). I have rattled it down to the error being with MaxMind, as when i disable the fraud checking, the account is setup correctly and normally - but it also states this in the "My Services" tab of the WHMCS client area (instead of "Pending"). It was fine on the old server (reseller account), although now everything has been changed over, Maxmind is the only thing causing any problems? Thank you for reading, and any ideas you may have.
smenkhare
The same thing is happening to me. payment gets completed, account setup automatically but the order stays at pending, apparently because they signed up with a free email address even though I have it set to accept free emails.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 27, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 27, 2011 No that's different, orders always need to be accepted manually: http://docs.whmcs.com/Order_Management
arctic-ice-cool
I later found out that this only happens when using a coupon code giving a 100% discount on order (which I was doing for testing purposes), if payment is recieved, everything works fine - still annoying if I want to offer clients a 100% discount on signup..... It definitely is MaxMind causing the error also, as the process completes fine when MaxMind is disabled... Turns out the process is all happening a little too quick for WHMS, basically due to no payment being required, WHMCS sets up the account mighty-quickly and sets everything to "Active", then Maxmind doesn't get a chance to complete it's fraud check, meaning it then sets it back to "Pending"..... Strange eh..
