LaceHost-Ishan
What is the difference between WHMCS IP monitor and your addon ?
Jamesking56
IP Monitor is unsupported in WHMCS 4.4 (due to the new addons system) and doesn't provide adequate support. ServerDown is fully compatible, does automatic update checks and has continued support through the BlazeStudios Helpdesk. You may also edit the Cron Job file to customise the email message if you wish.

bullfrog3459
Yup, same with me as well. We will see, i was told later today... Its really disappointing that everyone wants to encode everything, this reversed engineered code cannot be that special or unique.

And Liam, you know as well as i do, that i use the one built in, cannot monitor game servers, voice servers, and VPS nodes without this one, pingdom, and opennms. =]

bullfrog3459
Hey Guys, Just something to point out here, it appears to use the servers from your status installation if you do that on your servers, which its not something i do. It also has no option to configure it to do anything other than port 80 (hard coded). Our VPS primary nodes have very few ports open on them. I was hoping that a custom plugin would have some configuration options on it other than the default.

We hope to add a full interface soon with options to edit server, ports and even create widgets to show current server statuses on other websites.
easyhosting
please be aware that this no longer works with the latest version of WHMCS. below is a support reply from James. James King Staff 07/07/2011 10:39 Hi Terry, ServerDown is incompatible with the latest version and won't ever be compatible as it has reached EOL (End of Life). ServerDown only works with older versions of WHMCS. Our system does have an auto-close mechanism which seems to need repairing. Regards, James King BlazeStudios Manager i would suggest that the mods or WHMCS remove this from the community addons section http://www.whmcs.com/members/communityaddons.php?action=viewmod&id=193 Edited July 7, 2011 by easyhosting
