Lawrence
There are two other options not mentioned so far. 1. File a complaint with the BBB 2. File a complaint with the NY, Attorney Generals Office. I am one that purchased the CAMM add on. I also own the menu building program he used to make the CAMM add on. Which means I own about 70% of it already. What I don't have is the actual integration. The menu app is NLSMENU PROFESSIONAL from addobject.com. All it means is that you own the technology used to create it. You own 0% of the actual CAMM addon itself.

sgrayban
Sounds like a sql function that isn't working -- and the guy is Steve and he is flakier then a biscuit. I'm on the verge to just zip the dev ones up and send them off to pirate bay LOL

rodeoXtreme
I am not an attorney; nor play one on TV. However, while discussing with our attorney in regards to an unrelated software. They said that the definition of "lifetime" is relative. Relative to the owner or creator, the business (ownership), etc. Unless specifically stated that the license will carry beyond the life of the owner; the license agreement of the software would more than likely uphold the creator or owner of the software. They also said that abandonment does not constitute redistributing licensed software.
sgrayban
Doesn't matter to me anymore -- with the constant issues with the licenses failing I decided to remove the license checking out of my dev license I bought from him. Steve is much to flaky to trust anymore these days.... even when I posted the issues as a ticket he never answers and when I posted them again on his forum Steve resulted in deleting my forum account twice already.. he simply doesn't give a sh!t anymore.
smokindss
How do we get a copy with the license check removed, we are a paid member, and I would really like to use what we rightfully paid for? This guy is a complete "A" hole for doing this to so many of us. The right thing would have been to at least release a version with no license check. sgrayban
If you have the dev licenses its not that hard to disable it.
ChrisTERiS
Can someone of those who are using it, tell me if this bridge asks to enter somewhere your vBulletin License? If not, then this is the reason that causes incompatibilities between vB version upgrades. vBulletin has a hidden mechanism when salting the passwords and is getting the license key as parammeter to make it stronger. It happen to me when I coded some bridges for other scripts. Sometimes it was working, sometimes not. But by having the vB license, it was always working fine. By the way, one important missing feature from this mod is the ability to upgrade/downgrade usergroup in vB, after a purchace of a product. This was the reason that I didn't bought it.
