0 WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 22, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 22, 2010 The domain sync script updates the Expiry Date of domains in your system with the actual expiry date. So once a domain has been transferred to you the expiry date will be updated automatically.
0 alinford
Does it run on all domains, or can it be filtered to only run on transfers in, or domains starting with the letter "A", or only the first 1000 domains in the DB? I ask this because we have about 50k domains in the system, and I would imagine this would take a long time to run.
0 WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 29, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 29, 2010 It runs on all domains with OpenSRS as the registrar and the Status set to Active.

0 Snowman
can manually registered domains in the opensrs system be synced back to the client we had some teething issues with .au's initially and had to finish off their registrations manually and the report now returns: Auth error for xyv.com: Authentication Error. For support regarding xyz.com please contact your reseller....
0 hostedweb
Is there a domain sync script that just query's the who is for all domains regardless of who its registered with?
0 WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 2, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 2, 2011 @Snowman: Please review http://docs.whmcs.com/OpenSRS#Importing_Existing_Domains @hostedweb: No. That many whois queries would probably get you banned.
0 Snowman
John I am horrified to find the passwords are not encrypted in the database! also the domains im having trouble with are ones that were registered in whmcs and due to a bug Matt has since fixed for us we had to complete the registration in opensrs there is no facility in opensrs for the reseller to get the username and pass of clients for domain names...

0 seven24
I recently have encountered WHMCS OpenSRS Domain Synchronization Report auth errors. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions on how to resolve?
0 kroundtree
can manually registered domains in the opensrs system be synced back to the client we had some teething issues with .au's initially and had to finish off their registrations manually and the report now returns: Auth error for xyv.com: Authentication Error. 0 Snowman
yeah you just need to login to OpenSRS and grab the correct username and pass for the domain name and then in phpMyAdmin in the opensrs table search for the domain and update the password to the correct one. then problem solved
0 stephenb
I'm probably being really dim here. I have exactly this problem, but I don't appear to have an opensrs table in which to add the username/password. What am I missing?
0 stephenb
Oh I see, it doesn't exist - you have to create it Well, it's now created. I've shuffled onto my next problem. I'll probably be back posting a question after doing some research first!
