apignard
will be able to buy the source code ? Do you plan to support external ticket system like vision helpdesk ? Best Regards,
jeremyhaber
@i.s.s.w glad to hear everything went smooth. I disabled the function that was preventing you from downloading the files, it has been causing trouble recently with certain users not getting the proper permissions. @apignard This source is being used still as a commercial live chat software at this time. We are salvaging parts of it for our next big release. We can arrange something if you intent to buy the source. Please contact support through whmcsaddon.com to discuss it further. At this time we do not plan to support an external ticket system. Though we would love to, there are too many to choose from. We will be opening up development in our next product to allow you to create a module for you to do it yourself and/or for others.

AussieVoda
Why don't you try the free livezilla live chat, every few months they upgrade it, and it's 100% free! it also allows you to download the icon on your computer and it installs on your server. Check it out: http://livezilla.net/home/en/
jeremyhaber
Hello myvistahosting.com.au; Livezilla is a great live chat program. The only thing is it is not integrated into the WHMCS system like this addon is. This live chat addon is available 100% free as well and it is still being updated. I urge everyone to give it a shot! Especially at this unbeatable price Edited July 6, 2010 by jeremyhaber

jeremyhaber
Yes this live chat addon only requires an internet browser to work. This gives it the advantage to work with all operating systems
apignard
Well if you can plan api integration or such would be great. Internaly and to customer side we use a lot of irc for support. They can reach us by web irc or irc client.
jeremyhaber
In our next release we are converting the live chat addon into a modular application. This will allow you access to the core functions of the script itself. Along with our API you will be set to use any functions you need for your scripts.

HostXNow
Getting the same problem as Howard. What was the fix? Regards, Chris
jeremyhaber
Hello HostXNow; The fix is to turn "register_globals" in your PHP configurations from "On" to "Off". This PHP configuration is not a recommended setting to have on and is defaulted to off as of PHP 4.2.0. Once you adjust the "register_globals" setting to "off" the live chat addon should work flawlessly! For more information on "register_globals" please checkout the following guide: http://phpsec.org/projects/guide/1.html Let me know if I can further assist you. Regards, Jeremy Haber
HostXNow
Hi Jeremy, I already have register_globals set to "Off" in WebHostManager >> Main >> Service Configuration >> PHP Configuration Editor ? Regards, Chris
HostXNow
Trying it at http://www.hostxnow.com/support// In WHMCS Admin Pane at the bottom of the page it has 'No support requests are available at the moment.', even though the Live Chat icon is showing as Online. I click on image to load chat window up but still get the "No support requests are available at the moment. " message show up. I tried typed some text in the chat window and press Send button but still the same thing.
