gobbly2100
Hi folks, I use WHMCS for more than just hosting and sometimes I get clients for computer repair that don't always have an email address. How can I change the need for me to always enter an address for new clients? Currently, I get an error that the email is in use if I leave it blank and it does not create the client. Any help is much appreciated, thanks!
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted June 11, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted June 11, 2010 You could enter a fake email address: clientname@exmaple.com
themudpit
Hi, I'd like to have more control over this too as I'm simply creating clients that I manage and so want any emails that are generated to go to me only. Can anyone point me inthe direction of the coding so I can disable it from checking if the email addy is already in use? cheers, Andy
Damo
Andy, The source is encoded so there's nothing you'll be able to modify. What we do is create a forwarder using one of our domains. i.e. client-name@ourdomain.com -> us. That way we meet the unique email address requirement and still get a copy of the messages in one place
