Invoices and Cron Job

Hi,

 

I was wondering if I place an order for a client with a due date for 30 days later and the invoice email template is deactivated at the time I place the order and a few days later I activate it again, will the cron job send the invoice to the client before the due date or he will then only get the first invoice overdue e-mail?
