Website Review

As gs-liam stated, there are lots of broken links, including your privacy policy which can be a major turn-off. Your WHMCS integration is a bit clunky too, specifically the header menu just doesn't look right and the entire WHMCS integration feels cramped in the small space.

Honestly, the site doesn't look like one that should belong to a 5 year old company, instead it looks like you are just starting out. Have you recently changed to a new design? IMHO, the design itself is fine.

But most importantly, forget what the rest of us think for a moment and visit your site from the perspective of a potential customer. Ask yourself why would I signup here? Does the site feel trustworthy? Will I get the personal attention I need here? You get the idea.

Good luck!

Ok I fixed the broken links, and spaced the header menu out for the client area. Are there any other broken links that you can find?

Yes this is a brand new web design.

I agree it is still missing something but I can not put my finger on it.

Hum, it looks a bit shinny new. In my opinion the printing (text) is too large and over powering what the words are trying to say. Not a look of a old reliable company. Colors are vivid and bright like a new shinny suit. I agree with Rmccny some of the WHMCS tables look a little cramped. I would put my best foot forward and show all my best Hosting Packages and rates. As a consumer one glance will ether get you a client or pass!

Remember the rules of A.I.D.S. ( no not that one) ,.....

Attention: Get their attention.

Interest: Build an interest of reading more.

Desire: Establish a desire to purchase.

????? Guess the next one .......

SALE: Make the sale easy, quick and un-complicated.

Wow, thats my marketing spiel for this month!

Hello

I hope you dont mind me chiming in here, I agree with all that has been said so far but would add a couple of points as well, The WHMCS intergration looks OK but the mouse overs on your nav bar in the clientarea dont work.

There aren't many graphics around your main site either there were some on your main oage but dont recall seeing any at all on any of the other main site pages, go and invest in some stock photos make it a bit more "graphically pleasing" to the eye rather than just text panes.

! important thing to note is looking at your source code I cant see any attempt at any SEO, you dont really have any meta tags at all no keywords nothing you need to address this or your site simply wont be found from organic traffic, also you dont seem to have a sitemap anywhere xml is the preferred for mat for search engines also I would look at joining Google Webmaster Central its great for getting your site indexed quickly and rectifying any spidering issues they have.

Your about half way there address that SEO though as a priority.

That section is: "WHMCS Showcase If you have integrated WHMCS into your website and wish to show off your integration, this is the place to do it"

This section is:

"The Lounge Forum for general conversation, share interests, discuss the industry and get tips from your fellow WHMCS web hosters"

He's asking for tips on his webdesign and how that relates to signups, not showing off a WHMCS integration. Fits fine where it is, thanks.

To be very blunt: the website just looks very 1997.

You should probably not try to design the site yourself. Do what you're good at, and get a professional designer for the website. Or buy an off-the-shelf theme if you're on a budget - it will still be an improvement.

I went and looked at the site, and it took me a bit to realize I actually had to click the button Web Hosting to find your plans. I thought it would be on the products page.

Second, when I did get to the Web Hosting page, I was immediately turned off. A huge table, listing EVERYTHING that was available. In my opinion, not enough whitespace. I didn't even read a quarter of the table, let alone the prices for the hosting. If you having trouble getting people to buy, that may be why. Too much information in one tiny area.

IMHO the site looks quite cramped. Stretch it a bit, move it towards the edges more, after all, that's what resolutions are for :-P. The background for text is quite dark as well as the text being dark, doesn't help! Basically, I would space it out more and change text to white rather than changing the background colour. The menu could do with improving but that's my opinion :). Overall the website has a lot of potential, you just need to find that potential.

You have godaddy, network solutions, one and one, etc... etc, if you look over their sites do you find very much common ground? NO! I think that as long as your site design is simple, meaning when the everyday person clicks on something they know where they are going before the page shows. use terms the general public knows, like data base vs mysql, and keep advanced explanations like apache, ver of Linux etc on a page that advanced users would click.

All that said, the reason the companies mentioned above are successful is they advertise and market their site/product. even on a small budget, you need to bring people to your site that intend to buy your product, your site should not so much as sell your product or service, if they are there, your site should "close the sale"

They are already sold on the product or service you offer, that is why they are at your site, they just need to feel confidant that YOU are the right one to buy from..

Does your site give that to them?

When you say you are "One Of Canada's Best Web hosting Company " then you should have something related to Canada on your website ;) I can ONLY see penguins on every page.

Well, Don't use these terms on new websites that we are country best web host or we are in business for 6 year etc etc...trust me people will not trust you...

Yes at the top he clearly states "One Of Canada's Best Web Hosting Companies " but if you scroll to the bottom of the page he clearly states "Experience Canada's Best Web Hosting" but what's penguins got to do with Canada.

but he may be based in Canada, but his services are being provided in Fremont, Alameda County, California, USA.

so from being one of Canadas best web hosts, to being Canadas best web host that is not even hosting in Canada, but hosting provided by a USA datacenter.

"One Of Canada's Best Web Hosting Companies "

"Experience Canada's Best Web Hosting"

2 different statements, 1 stating you one of Canadas best web hosts and the other saying you are Canada best web host.

both these give customers the understanding that their sites are hosted in Canada by a Canadian company when in fact they are Hosted in the USA and managed by a Canadian Company.
