cyrusco
I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. I am wondering if anyone knows how to change WHMCS settings to create usernames for the client area that are the same as the cpanel username? My clients seem to get easily confused with this. Thanks!

Carlos5
What about the password? When a client sets up a new account and WHCMS generates a password, is it the same password the client has for his cPanel account? (If made at the same time) Also, if the client has more than one hosting package with you are the passwords to the cPanels the same or different? Thanks
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 23, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 23, 2009 No, the client area password is different from cPanel, and each cPanel password is different for each hosting account.
