This posting is for WHMCS v8 upwards.... When logged into the admin end and you navigate to a client profile and then click on the users tab. You see a list of users associated to the profile. Next to each user is an action column, with a button "Manage User" and a Drop Down Nav. Two questions.. 1) Is there a Nav Hook to add items to the drop down Nav? If so what is the hook called please? 2) If I want to add another button next to the "Manage User" button how would I do that? Another hook? or edit a template file? Many thanks in advance

Hi I'm looking for a way so that when a end-user wants to transfer-in or purchase a domain name that I can bundle in a select service for free. I know you can do this the other way round. I.e purchase a service that requires a domain name. But I want to be able to resell domains and include a service with that order. Is that possible?

Hi Looking at creating a provision module for WHMCS with an initial setup wizard. So instead of the WHMCS Admin having to create the server group, server, the product groups and the products manually. I was looking at an initial setup wizard that could do it all for them (of course all products and product groups would be hidden until that admin changes that). I can see in the API reference it's possible to create the products (addProduct). But I can't see how to create the product groups (addProductGroup), the servers (addServer) and the server groups (addServerGroup) from the API. Is what I am trying to do possible? Any pointers gratefully received. Ian

Hi I'm looking for a WHMCS integration module for WHMCS that will link to SuiteCRM. I'd like to do the following from WHMCS (front-end and back-end) When a new customer signs up for a something in WHMCS, on order acceptance/creation I want it to add an account and contact in SuiteCRM, then add a history item to reflect the new order being added. If the account already exists, then to update/sync the contact information if there are changes, and then add a history item to reflect the new order being added. I would also like to link in the SuiteCRM cases for trouble tickets. So in WHMCS the end-user can create a ticket (Case) and view/update tickets (cases) from in WHMCS. Likewise linking WHMCS knowledge base articles to SuiteCRM knowledgebase articles would be useful to. Anyone out there seen anything like this??? Some google searching takes me to WHMCS integration with SugarCRM, but I'm not sure that it compatible with the newer builds of SuiteCRM. Regards Ian

Hi I would like to generate a report that gave me a list of all 'active' clients who may or may not have any products but where none are active. Basically I want to generate a list of clients who either have no services at all, or have had services in the past but are terminated, cancelled, etc (anything but active) I'm happy to do a MySQL report direct on the database but I'm not sure of the relationships between the tables. Any ideas on this? Ultimately the list this generates I then want to close those accounts down if they are old enough, to a) keep the system clean and b) conform to the new license cost based on number of clients. Hi Sorted!!!! Didn't realise there was two php.ini files. One for Apache and for CLI. I had enabled IMAP module for Apache but not in the CLI php.ini. Shame there was no errors displayed that functions couldn't be found extra, otherwise I would have realised the error of my ways. Thanks for your replies.... Much appreciated. :-D

Inside WHMCS I have a Support Department setup called support and the POP3 information set hostname - pop.xxxx.com pop3 port - 995 email address - support@xxxx.com email pass - ****** Using Live Mail as a tester I can confirm the credentials work fine. However when I run the pop.php script all I get is the below user@whmcs:~# php -q /var/www/crons/pop.php POP Import Log Date: 01/01/2016 13:00:54 --- Host: pop.xxxx.com<br>Email: support@xxxx.com<br>user@whmcs:~# And no email is fetched or processed, and there is "support" emails in the mailbox. The mail provider only provides SSL POP3. Is there any logging I can turn on to see errors? Nothing in the WHMCS logs (Activity, Admin, Module, import) Does the pop.php actually support POP3 SSL? I've ruled out firewall problems as the firewall has been turned off, for testing purposes. Any suggestions?? I'm running WHMCS 6.2.0 on Ubuntu 14LTS with PHP 5.5.9 and Apache2, and yes php-imap is installed. phpinfo() reports protocols supported are pop3 and pop3s

Ok This is going to sound a really stupid question but its driving me nuts!!! Trying to create a server module and in the create function I wanted to echo some vars on the screen as debug information. The "echo" and indeed the "print_r($vars)" don't display anything on the screen. I've resorted to running the logactivity() function Is there a way to get the echo's and/or print_r information to display?

Hi When someone purchases a product/service in the order it automatically creates a random server password and blank server username. I want to be able to create my own generated usernames in a server module I'm creating. I thought about adding a hook in to "PreModuleCreate" but I'm not sure how to create the username. What I mean is, I can generate the username and set it in the params when in turn then calls my API and is passed to my server. However in the clients area the username is still blank and not set there so the user has no idea what it is. Any ideas?? Am I doing this completely wrong, and if so how would you do it?

Hi Is there a way in WHMCS to get a popup window to warn the logged in user that there session is about to timeout and log them out. Similar to when you are logged into your bank and it warns you are about to be auto logged out. Ian

Hi Does anyone know if there is a WHMCS Office365 Provisioning module? The idea would be as follows. 1) Sign up as a MS Partner and Office365 Provider. 2) Configure the WHMCS Office365 module with the partner details. This would then enable you to resell Office365 and configure using the provisioning module. I've seen there is a MS provisioning API for Hosted Exchange and Office. So was wondering if there was a WHMCS module to enable WHMCS to resell those services. From the admin site, would be looking for the usual create/delete/suspend/unsuspend From the client side they would need the usual Office365 config options. Any ideas on such as module??? Hi I wanted to have a common header theme across all the email generated but wanted to use the {emailsubject} field in the header. When I added the custom global header in the settings section and send an email the subject {emailsubject} is blank. Do merge fields only work in the email template and not the header or footers? Strangely in the Global Footer section I have a merge field {signature} in use which does seem to work. When I put {emailsubject} in the body (I.e in the template) it works. I got the field name by doing a {dump} of all the fields because the documentation on this isn't great to say the least. I wanted custom global headers and footers to avoid the painful exercise of changing _all_ the email templates. Plus the more I can keep to the standard out of the box, makes upgrading versions easier. Any ideas people?? Regards Ian

Hi When a new service is created in WHMCS it automatically generates a password for the service. Is it possible to tell WHMCS to not use certain characters? For example capital I and lowercase l Because when the password is emailed to the client and with the default font in outlook its impossible to tell the difference between an I and an l. Generating a high number of support tickets and password resets. Any ideas Ian

Hi Last week we upgraded from 5.0.2 to 5.2.10 and on the admin home screen used to be a graphical bar chart report on the count/sum of orders per month showing monthly data with this year and the previous year, instead of the daily sum of orders on version 5.0.2. Am I correct in assuming the old report was called graph_monthly_new_orders_income? Am I also correct in thinking I can run that report by doing https://mywhmcs.com/admin/reports.php?report=graph_monthly_new_orders_income Because I get the following error if I do. Fatal error: Class 'WHMCSGraph' not found in modules/reports/graph_monthly_new_orders_income.php on line 28 So am I doing this right?? All I am trying to achieve is to run a report that shows the count of order grouped by month and ideally display a graph, just like version 5.0.2 did on the admin home screen. This report doesn’t have to be back on the home screen happy to link to it. Any ideas? Ian

Hi Since upgrading to 5.2.10 I have noticed that in the filter (dropdown) for invoices the field for the invoice number is missing. Of course I can use the advanced search on the left menu but any chance this can be put back in the filter. Used to be in previous versions... Ian

Hi Thanks for your reply. Sadly {$email_subject} and {$subject} don't work. I tried those before posting the forum article. In fact I have tried the following. {$message_subject} {$email_subject} {$subject} {$title} {$email_title} {$message_title} none of those work.... Lots of people on the forums discussing using the merge fields in the subject line, but I want the subject line as a merge field variable to use in the content. Any ideas please people.... Ian
