  1. Hello, A couple of notes for feedback for @WHMCS John: The Nexus Cart is amazing! It's what we've been asking for in the recent years. New and fresh look that users will like to interact with. Thank you! For the Expanded API Coverage, please kindly include more examples in the documentation. If we have examples (even simple ones) on how we can interact with the API on each occasion, it will be hands down a much more easier use of it for us, Now, for the main subject of this thread. We're following the feature requests a lot. One of the expected additions for us on the newest release was RDAP and the feature request is here: https://requests.whmcs.com/idea/rdap-whois-query-integration Didn't see anything in the Release Notes of 8.13 and 9.0 and this is why i ask. The comment in the feature request was saying "RDAP support is currently planned for the second release of 2025 (after 8.13). " Please correct me if we've missed it. Could you please let us know if it will be part of v9.0?
  2. Please correct me if i'm wrong. We haven't seen an update of WHMCS during Q3. In the past, if i recall correctly, you (WHMCS) had said that you were going to be releasing 1 major update during each quarter to justify the price increase. Was there no release due to v9.0 or there is no such mention "1 major release per quarter"?
  3. Hi, Thank you for posting a reply. Sorry, but we 'd like to find out how this can be done so that we do it by ourselves. It's not an issue to build custom code or hook. We are searching for guidance on what generally (not specifically) needs to be done to reach the end goal.
  4. Hello, On the Backend, and more specifically on Reports > More > Exports > Domains, the Admin is allowed to export a CSV with the domains, their Expiry Dates, their Registration Date and other values for specific clients. How could we allow this functionality for clients on the Frontend. The scenario that other Registrars have in their in-house systems is the ability for the client to Export a list of his domains with specific columns to an Excel/CSV file. Can we also make this happen on WHMCS? Thank you
  5. Hello, We recently added Stripe as a Payment Method and it has caused to many questions to our customers. Stripe is a necessity for automating Subscriptions so we will use it. They don't know what they need to write on each field so we'd like to show an alert message, above the Payment Method title where we will explain what they need to write on each field, which fields are mandatory and which are optional. This needs to appear on when Stripe is selected as a payment method and only when the client is about to enter his Card Details on Stripe, just like the image shown below. By default, a warning/alert yellow message exists below the form saying "Any data you enter here is submitted securely and is encrypted to reduce the risk of fraud". We need an identical above the form where we will write some explanations. How we can do this? Kindest regards
  6. Exactly! Thanks a lot!
  7. Hello, Upon adding on different periods large amounts of TLDs, we got a messy result where nothing is sorted. The drag and drop method would take us ages to sort everything alphabetically as we talk about more than 600 TLDs. Would it be faster to sort it through the DB? Which table from WHMCS DB is used to define the display order of TLDs? Do you have any better suggested ways to make faster an alphabetical sorting? Looking forward to hear any faster and working solutions.
  8. Hello @WHMCS John Instead of creating a new thread, i'll post it here. Would you please be so kind someone from your team to check the Feedback community? I saw comment spam on popular requests. Additionally, i wrote about 3 months ago a new request for using AI in the domain searches and it's not been approved yet by a moderator so that it can become public for voting.
  9. Hello, 🙂 I'd like to know if you have a hook to sort by default the domain names list by Expiry Date on the Client Area. Out of the box/By default the domain names list are being sorted alphabetically. Clients want to see the domain names with the closest expiry date first so we need to make the sorting by the expiry date the default. Do you have a hook to achieve our goal?
  10. With hooks it is then. 🙂 The one time payment is out of question. Everyone will get confused, guaranteed.
  11. Hello, The current/normal WHMCS operation is the following: On an invoice we add a payment Invoice status changes to paid Next Due Date changes according to the invoice Although the thought behind this system is pretty good, it causes us troubles quite frequently. Until we make our internal operation system completely automatic, we can't make use of this logic. We want to stop the trigger which changes the Next Due Date when we add a payment to an invoice. We'd like to manually update the Next Due Date and the Expiry Date. Ideally, in the future when we will fix our internal operation we'd like to bring the current/normal operation back. How can we disable this trigger? Using WHMCS v8.8.0. Kindest regards
  12. Hello, I'll post here as my question lies on the same subject. Following the instructions of brian! i've changed our Logo in the invoice. Changing it from the System Settings wasn't enough. I uploaded a .png version of our logo. How could i use the .svg version of our logo in the invoice? The logo will appear much more clear that way.
  13. Hello, We asked the .cy and .com.cy Registry if they have a WHOIS Server and their official reply was negative. They do not have a WHOIS Server for Registrars and the only method to search if a domain is available is through their website. So, is there any way to make the Email Notifications Registrar Module work for this case? Client won't be able to make real time searches, but we will be able to give them the opportunity to request it. Currently when they search for .cy and .com.cy domains, they only receive "domain is not available" messages so we are losing sales 😐
  14. Thanks for posting it. Looks good, but not perfect. Ideally we are searching for a way to completely block the access to the account until the email is verified. Accessing the "client details" means that anyone will be able to access the client area, which is something we don't want to happen until there is a verification.
  15. We came across this issue in the past but when we saw that it wasn't possible directly through the settings, we abandoned it. It would be extremely useful for us to force everyone to verify their email address. Roughly only 20% of clients actually verify it, now that they are not forced to do it. Would also like to know how this can be achieved.
  16. Hi @WHMCS SamP We've done that with other TLDs. However, i don't think, as far as i know, that this Registry has a whois server publicly available. In your Docs page we read that: Thus we were hoping that it wouldn't require us to connect to any whois but it would instead show a message to the client "example.cy is available". When the client proceeded with the purchase, we would get a message that there is a request for this domain, we would manually search for it and if it was available we would proceed the operation. If not, we would cancel the order and refund any money. At least that was the plan and thought 😊 Can't we achieve that with the Email Notifications Registrar Module?
  17. Hi @WHMCS SamP, Lookup Provider: "WHMCS Namespinning". Geo-targerted results is checked and we have selected the .com, .net, .org and .eu TLDs for extra availability checks. TLDs: .cy and .com.cy After these 2 TLDs, i'd like to add more to the Email Notifications Registrar Module.
  18. Hello everyone, 😊 We 'd like to offer 2 TLDs for which we do not have an integrated registrar module. We've also searched the market and there is no available module in general. As we read on WHMCS docs, the Email Notifications Registrar Module is meant to be used for such cases. We activated it on System Settings -> Domain Registrars, we set the default WHMCS admin email to receive notifications there and tried to make searches for the specific TLDs. After more than a decade of operating WHMCS, this will be the first time we have activated and tried to use the Email Notifications Registrar Module. Every time we make a search for these 2 TLDs, we get the message "domain.TLD is not available" meaning that the module does not work. What are we doing wrong here? Have we missed something in the configuration?
  19. Hi @Grizzlyware Josh Thank you for your suggestions! Much appreciated! We'll give them a try and if the learning curve isn't long enough (phinx), we'll go with it. If you think of any simpler approach, we'd be more than welcome to read it 🙂
  20. Hello, Our first WHMCS installation was made back in 2011. Ever since we have made multiple server migrations and folder changes until today but we kept that same installation. Of course we've been making every single update as suggested. We've been adding stuff, deleting stuff more times than i can remember. One thing that was not done throughout this decade was documenting every single change we made. Now we'd like to change that by making a fresh installation. The new installation will be done on a new subdomain and we 'd like to transfer over client info, modules and integrations step by step. The IP address won't change. This way we will delete unnecessary hooks, addons and most importantly any junk from the database. Have any of you oldies done the process before? I can't think specifically how the license part will work. Could we use the testing license, make all the changes and migrations there and then change the testing license to the production one? Would really like to know what you think and what your experience is. 🙂
  21. Hi there, Any plans to implement this by default? It hasn't been introduced as far as i know so far.
  22. Wow...! Chill dude. Why so offensive? You know you are not obligated to reply. --------------------------- Anyone else know another way around? Kindest regards
  23. Hello, thanks for the reply. Yes. We use the normal SendEmail. I was hoping we didn't have to make "yet another hook" to fulfill such a simple task. Is there no other way around? Kindest regards
