  1. Was using a customized cart template, but tried standard_cart and had the exact same issue. Finally got an error just now in the console (wasn't showing up earlier): content.js:43 [Violation] Added non-passive event listener to a scroll-blocking 'mousewheel' event. Consider marking event handler as 'passive' to make the page more responsive. 2. Just upgraded to WHMCS 7.6. In the 'viewinvoice' drop-down for the payment gateways, once a new payment method is selected (on the HTML invoice), the buttons underneath the gatewaydropdown change to the appropriate gateway buttons (as soon as you click out of the gateway dropdown box). However, the dropdown box itself defaults back to the first gateway option. I was told by WHMCS support that this issue was template specific, and that they couldn't reproduce it, but I just switched my WHMCS template to the default 'six' one, and the issue still occurs. All my other files are up to date, so I'm not sure what could be causing this? Please advise if you guys are seeing the same thing on your installations. The behavior can be super confusing to users
  3. We had hired a designer to develop a custom module for us in WHMCS 6. The designer has since discontinued working on custom WHMCS modules; the module doesn't seem fully compatible with WHMCS 7, but we're looking to upgrade our WHMCS to the latest version. Can someone who is familiar with module customization contact me? The changes should be very minor. Would obviously pay -- contact me at: int (at) trunkspace (dot) ca
  4. Currently have a custom HTML-based site. Looking to hire a talented designer, who is reasonably priced but has a proven portfolio, to help us move to a CMS (Wordpress preferred) and away from the typical WHMCS 'look', particularly in the client area/payment page and invoicing. Please contact me by email if interested (or if you have any questions), at : int (at) trunkspace (dot) ca
  5. Trying to integrate {$opencount}, {$scheduledcount} and {$resolvedcount} in a module residing in <whmcs>/modules/addons/<subfolder>/templates/<file>.tpl But the addon module doesn't seem to know the WHMCS variables. How do I make it recognize them? Can I do an include of some file?
  6. Does it support Interac Online (Canadian Interac Debit cards)? If so, can you please email me information at: int at trunkspace dot ca
  7. Commercial, from Katamaze I have contacted the developer of the module but haven't been able to get any response for over a month now (on various topics) -- my tickets go unanswered/ignored, so that's why I'm trying to troubleshoot this myself
  8. Really smart troubleshooting, thank you! This helped narrow down that it was a module (multi language WHMCS module)! The issue that remains is that the OS now displayed shows the short name AND the long name (i.e. " Operating System: ubuntu-15.10-x86_64-minimal|Ubuntu 15.10 64bit - minimal") -- why is it showing the part before the "|"? I'm sure it's template-related as well, but is there something specific to put in the templaet to tell it to ignore the part before the "|"?
  9. I run a custom cart (flatterncart), and up until now, everything has worked as expected. However, I added a large 'configurable option' list (list of Operating Systems) over the weekend -- 43 in total -- but now no matter what option is selected, the VERY LAST ONE appears in the shopping cart summary. When the order goes through, the proper OS is passed through it seems, but the one displayed on the cart page is the wrong one. Where do I go to make sure the proper Configurable Option is passed through the order process for display to the customer?
  10. Yes, it's set to utf-8 - - - Updated - - - It was in Firefox. After receiving your message, just tried in Chrome and can confirm that the same issue occurs. The issue also appears in the emails that are sent out to clients (in the body of the 'Service Suspension' email, for example). That's why I think it's not related to the browser. Trying to find a link between the clients that have the issue, but haven't been able to so far. 2 subsequent invoices from the same client (for the same service): 1 has the issue, the other doesn't... Can't pinpoint what in the world could cause this intermittent issue
  11. Different browsers? That shouldn't make a difference. Please see screenshot attached for an example of the issue. Any ideas?
  12. Appreciate the reply I've always noticed it with the same product actually, but that happens to be the product we sell the majority of the time anyway, and it doesn't occur every single time the product is ordered (or every invoice, even to the same client). So tough to figure out!
  13. I have a very strange issue on some (not all) WHMCS invoices -- where the number '1' is missing and is replaced by a 'space'. This isn't just on the 'output' of the invoice (i.e. on the PDF), but on the invoice text in the client's profile, on the invoices under "Invoices". This happens randomly, not to all clients, not to all invoices so it's hard to diagnose. Is this anything you guys have seen previously? I'm on WHMCS 6.0.2 and can't upgrade to a newer version because of custom module incompatibilities
  14. I purchased this last night for our WHMCS -- I just wanted to say THANK YOU! You are incredibly talented. This thing is WELL worth it for anyone on the fence
  15. Got the developer to fix this for me. Thanks anyway!
  16. So I should change the input type to "text"? Wondering why it's hidden in the first place then... And where do I add the JS code? At the top of the TPL file?
  17. Thanks, but this unfortunately doesn't work with my addon that I'm trying to add a tooltip to (which is in the modules/addons/<module> folder and uses a hook): <input type=\"hidden\" name=\"location\" value=\"" + configBox.prop("name") + "\" />"); I put the escape characters in as they should be, but in putting data-toggle and title, the field doesn't show up in the order form at all. Any ideas?
  18. Looking for some guidance on how we can add a tooltip to a configurable option (a custom addon in fact) during the customer checkout process; basically, we have a new/custom field to allow people to add a subdomain name to use to access their servers, but people can't seem to understand what that field represents, so we constantly get customers using our 'live chat' to ask what to put in this 'subdomain' field.
  19. We found a great developer for this. Thanks for all those who were interested!
  20. I opened a thread in the Technical Issues and Questions forum: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?105459-Disallow-or-Time-Restrict-a-Product-%28Configurable-Option%29-Downgrade Looking for a quote on how much a module would cost me to time restrict product downgrades after upgrades (of configurable options)?
  21. We had a client today make us notice something: From the client area, when you select "Pay All", you get a "Payment Method" selection underneath. If you select a particular gateway (we offer "Credit Card" and "PayPal Payment") and click the Make Payment button, the "view invoice" screen that appears next does not seem to see the selection you made on the previous screen; if you had selected "Paypal", the viewinvoice will still show "Credit Card" in the drop-down at the top right of the viewinvoice html page. You can change the selection here, but to many people, this is not intuitive. That said, how does one pass the correct parameter from the 'masspay' screen to the 'viewinvoice.php'?
  22. Hmm... I don't think you understand. Until Stardevelop released that update to Chatstack last night, WHMCS 6.x did not work with Live Help on the iPhone; WHMCS 5 continued to work, but WHMCS 6 did not. That update that they released last night fixed the issues (tested and confirmed by me today)
