  1. Will this create a starting number or just increase each new affiliate account by that number?
  2. heh - asking for advice, because we do not want to mess anything up. The more replies / suggestions, the better our odds of success. Thanks for taking a quick look.
  3. Greetings, Looking to start the first affiliate number to be greater than 1 (would like 4 digits) - Any ideas? Thanks!
  4. Thanks MediaPlayStudios, Any future cancellations and we will manually cancel their subscription.
  5. Greetings, Does WHMCS not automatically cancel the PayPal subscription associated with an account when that account is scheduled to be automatically terminated? We had a request from a customer through WHMCS to cancel his service on 11 May 2010. The system cancelled his service and deleted his domains during the cron job at 12:01AM. However, PayPal processed his subscription and applied his payment to last month's already paid invoice. Thoughts? Thanks!
  6. Hi John, Thanks for your reply. This makes total sense now. As we have about 12+ customers who had subscriptions with us through PayPal for years before we started using WHMCS - since they were such long time customers, we didn't want to bother them or go through the hassle of bothering them to cancel their subscription and start a new one through WHMCS. I guess an email is in order telling them we need them to migrate to our "new" system. We'll tell them we will cancel their current subscription with PayPal, and when they get their next invoice notification via email, to create a new subscription. Unless anyone else has another suggestion Thanks again, John!
  7. Just received the above email from PayPal. Here's our problem: We have TWO installs of WHMCS and use our Business PayPal account on numerous other websites we operate. - What URL should I put in our "Notification URL" in our "Instant Payment Notification (IPN)" settings? Since we operate more than WHMCS license - we're lost... Thanks for your help!
  8. Greetings, We have a customer who signed up for hosting and wants custom nameservers - how do we add his nameservers / dedicated IPs to his account? Do we just reserve those two IPs in WHM? Will his Information email contain his IPs and reflect his ns1 / ns2 nameservers? Thanks!
  9. Yes, you were, bravo! For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get the database involved to pull the category. Thanks again to everyone for their great efforts!
  10. BINGO! We have a winner! Thanks m00 and everyone else who responded!
  11. Thanks! Getting closer, but not quite there... <title>{$companyname} - {$pagetitle} {if $categoryname} - {$categoryname}{/if}{if $kbarticle.title} - {$kbarticle.title}{/if}</title> Does put the Category in the title: <title>DomainName.ext - Knowledgebase - Billing</title> When someone clicks on: DomainName.ext/whmcs/knowledgebase/2/Billing However, When someone clicks on an article, the title reads: <title>DomainName.ext - Knowledgebase - Will my credit card statement show DomainName.ext?</title> I'd like it to show: <title>DomainName.ext - Knowledgebase - Billing - Will my credit card statement show DomainName.ext?</title> Where the Category Name is inserted between "Knowledgebase" and "Article". Any suggestions and thanks again! PS: Thanks sparky, but your suggestion did not work for me.
  12. Greetings, Looking to add the knowledge base title to the browser title so the title reads: Knowledgebase - Category - Article Title Thanks!
  13. Hadn't thought about this until I read this thread - We would also be interested in being able to assign knowledgebase articles to a specific "group" of clients.
  14. I feel left out - I don't have any support issues
  15. No. It's a weekend and a Holiday weekend, on top of that. Also, what kind of "support" did you request? Was it to report a problem with WHMCS or was it a configuration question. In other words: Is something broken/awry? Do you just have a question? Or? I have seen them reply to my support tickets over the weekend. But it has also been my experience that unless it is "critical", they will promptly answer on the Monday. For $16/month you should allow them to be off work on the weekends. If they offered their services at a higher price, or was outsourced to some third world country for support, then I could see the ability to have staff over the weekends. Relax - these are real people here...
  16. Perhaps even change the next due date...
  17. Priced just right! We have two licenses and are looking forward to adding more in the future.
  18. Perhaps in the future - it's also adult related...
  19. The good folks here at WHMCS completed our template integration (http://www.whmcs.com/integration.php). WOW! We highly recommend this service - they did in no time flat what would have taken us days. 5 Stars!
  20. You wouldn't be billing and then paying - you would be issuing a credit to their account that will show up on their next invoice. IE: $40 hosting - $20 credit (commissions) = $20 net invoice. If the customer has more commissions than hosting fees, ie: $40 hosting - $60 credit (commissions) = $0 net invoice, with a remaining credit on their account of <$20> for their next invoice. However, it would be nice to have an option in WHMCS to select "Pay Affiliate Commision for this customer by credit on their account". Saving a couple manual steps along the way.
  21. Thank you! I should just go to bed - I can't see the forest through the trees today... Thanks again.
  22. I've lost my mind - Please disregard... We had an email address in BCC that happened to be our test email address we were using -
  23. Correction - all emails being sent to customer are duplicated. Any ideas? I'm think we did something wrong - lol.
