I understand Craig. A couple years ago, I purchased my owned WHMCS license thru a reseller, but everything was in my name and I had an account on WHMCS.com that I could manage my license thru. Perhaps the license you purchased thru your server reseller, was only reselling a license they owned and leased it to you? I do not know the specifics of your situation, but mine are clear. If you purchase an owned license, you will only have access to download the script for a period of 1 year. If you decide to not purchase their yearly access to updates and support, you CAN NOT download the script without paying the $44.95 yearly fee. For example, if you purchased your license December 2008, you would have access to updates thru December 2009, or WHMCS 4.1.2. Come January, you decide to not purchase the yearly access to updates, you DO NOT have access to download ANY version any longer. So your owned license you purchased, gives you a license and no way of downloading the WHMCS 4.1.2 you had active support thru. Version 4.2.x + I can understand not having access to, but you should still have access to download versions of the script while your support was still active. This is how Kayako, vBulletin, and many other major software companies handle yearly fees, etc. Why would WHMCS be any different? Even the main page says OWNED LICENSE There is no obligation to renew if you do not want further support or updates. So if your 1 year was up in December 2009, you would not have access to FUTURE updates, but SHOULD still have access to versions prior to December 2009 to download.

I recently emailed support in regards to the yearly updates and support fee. A few months ago I decided to not extend my updates and support for another year, until an update came out that was worth paying the fee for. I did not want to pay for another year when only minor updates were done and none that would benefit my use for the license. I wanted to access version 4.1.2, which is the last update I had access to prior to my updates and support membership expiring, but to my amaze it told me I did not have access to download this and I had to purchase the yearly fee. I understand 4.2 came out after my status had expired, but I paid for the updates for last year, therefore, I should have access to download them. As it stands now, if I lost my WHMCS script for some reason, I would not have the ability to download 4.1.2, the current version I paid for updates to run, and would be stuck with no script unless I paid the yearly fee for a newer version I had no use for. With any script, i.e.) Kayako or vBulletin, when you pay for the 6 or 12 months of upgrades you have access to these for life. I can log in to Kayako's member area and download the current version as long as I want to. When my yearly fee expires, I still have access to the most current version of the script while my updates membership was still active. This is the way WHMCS should be. This is nothing against the yearly fee for updates, as I have no problem paying once there is an update that is beneficial to me and how I use the script. However, once I pay I should have access to those updates that are released during the 12 month period of my updates and support, for life.

If someone goes to xxxxxxx.com/billing/pipe/pop.php it will display on the screen what has been imported.

It was under settings inside of WHMCS.

I currently have the Kayako eSupport mod running that allows me to use eSupport for my tickets, knowledgebase, downloads, etc. My question is how do I temporarily disable Kayako integration so I can have the WHMCS support system run on the server?
-
Does WHMCS support system allow for adding staff members that only have access to answering support tickets? I currently use Kayako eSupport, but looking into full integration of WHMCS instead of using eSupport for support and knowledgebase and WHMCS for billing. I looked over the demo of 4.x, but it didn't seem like there was an option to add staff.

A client sold a website to another client and I want to take and move that product from Client A's account to Client B's account to keep the same dates, etc. Is there a way to move the hosting product from one account to another?

We use PHP5 since it came out. Haven't used php 4 since it was no longer being updated..

Does this work with the newest update of WHMCS? I was using something like this and users were unable to login. I removed it and it worked. I converted back to the previous version and it worked too.

SEO doesn't work with kayako integration.

Correct, the passwords were fine. It is something with the SSL redirect it won't allow it to use. Still scratching my head.

Thanks but I think I narrowed down the problem. In my .htaccess file I have: RewriteEngine On # force https to use SSL cert RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} This takes http:// mysite and changes it to https:// For some reason with does not work with the new update. Also, when I set the HTTPS URL in the admin panel it redirects https://www.mysite.com/billing'>https://www.mysite.com/billing to just https://www.mysite.com I guess I will run it without https until I figure something out.

I upgraded to 3.8.1 and now when a client puts in their login and password it says login invalid. When I login to the admin panel the login details are correct for the clients accounts. The error received is: Login Details Incorrect. Please try again.

I have a default server selected to use with new account signups. It is set to default; however, when a customer places an order I get a cURL error due to no server being selected. I have to go into the system and select the server for the account, hit save, and hit create for it to work. I have noticed this having the issue since 2 updates ago. How can I fix this so the orders are created automatically after payment instead of receiving this error?

When a client places an order it shows up as a pending order. Do I have to accept the order before they can pay with paypal? If it stays pending and they pay with paypal will it automatically create their account?

My Unpaid Invoices shows 0 but when you run your mouse over it it shows 100% and the bar is yellow. How can I fix this to show 0% and not highlighted?

It is WHMCS's random password algorithm. It needs to make passwords stonger. Inside WHM in cPanel I had to change my security from 80 down to 50, to allow WHMCS created accounts to work. How do I make it so WHMCS creates longer and more random passwords?
-
You will need the EPP code from within domains.whmcs.com Submit a support ticket if you need help.
-
I think he is asking if someone could post a copy of the invoice they made.
-
I just ran into that problem. My issue was the password security requirement was set too high inside of WHM. I had to lower it and it allowed the creation of the accounts.
-
Where do I find WHMCS's random password algorithm? I need to increase it so it is capable of creating stronger passwords. I had to change my WHM password settings from 80 to 50 in order for WHMCS to create accounts automatically. Anyone know what file and line in that file I change?

I want to say I configured the WHMCS support desk, but I needed a bit more. I had two licenses for Kayako, so I figured I would use one instead. The Kayako integration went awesome. Kayako has some integration files included with their installation. A few uploads and an edit here and there and things went together great. Stay focused with the WHMCS billing aspect and do not try and lose focus from that trying to make WHMCS do everything good when you can continue making the billing portion GREAT!

Being logged in as admin would allow me to login like this?
