  1. Hello Everyone, Sorry for the confusion on this, we have seen a few people surprised by whats happened. Back in Novemeber 2019 the module shop was relaunched, and obviously had a lot of existing customers (and people who had just registered on the site). There was a change to how the module shop was providing modules (to a model where a monthly or yearly subscription gave you access to all the modules, which you could pick and choose at any time). As part of this we provided access to every legacy module, open sourced and available to download for everyone registered on the site. We then notified all registered users about the new module plans and noted some may not want to continue so suggested contacting us to close or remove accounts not wanted, either before or after the free trials we were migrating accounts to. After this we gave every registered user a free trail for 1 year of the new module system. the tier provided was at least the starter plan (if you had previously purchased no modules) and went right up to the largest plan depending on your previous purchases with the module shop. The renewal notices youve recieved are automated renewal notices from our whmcs platform as the free trial period has ended. As with other free trials the renewal was optional and after the grace period the services will cancel. These will be setup as annual plans but can also be changed to monthly if requested. There is no possible way you will be billed for anything unless you explictly make a renewal payment. As part of the migration last year we notified users and removed all payment details from the system and any existing subscriptions in stripe or paypal to ensure no unauthorized payments were ever taken. We arent quite sure how the various emails sent out from last year werent delivered to some users, we can provide details of the emails sent to your account either directly or by logging in and viewing the emails tab under your account. We additionally sent many emails about the free trials and optional renewals through our newsletter, if anyone belives they were on the newsletter but didnt receive the emails please let us know and we can look into this for you. In short: You will not be charged unless you choose to renew The free trials will end automatically after the grace period Please let us know if want any user account closed or removed will we sort this asap And once again very sorry for any confusion here, on reflection while we feel we sent alot of information when the changes were made we could of sent a notification about any upcoming renewals after the free trials that may have avoided or reduced any confusion happening now. Regards
  2. We have just released a new update for our modules. Version 1.3.3, checkout the changelog here: https://whmcsmoduleshop.com/changelog/133

  3. We have just released a new update for our modules. Version 1.3.2, checkout the changelog here: https://whmcsmoduleshop.com/changelog/132

  4. We have just released a new update for our modules. Version 1.3.1, checkout the changelog here: https://whmcsmoduleshop.com/changelog/131

  5. @stevea The previous modules are still available to you via the legacy modules page where you can download the open source versions which no longer contain license checks within them, we sent an email about these a while back but if you need more info on finding them just let us know via a ticket and we will send you the details. I have responded to your owned license questions via your ticket, but just to update anyone else who reads this ive quoted that part of the response below: It also puts a clear requirement on us as the developers to ensure any future incompatibilities are dealt with swiftly, otherwise we wouldnt be providing the service we are offering. Looking at other module developers pricing structure we feel the new service we offer can be comparable and competitive. Alot of module developers offer modules anywhere from $25-$200 for an owned license, but then also usually offer some form of "support and updates" renewable with pricing ranging from $10 every quarter to the full initial purchase price yearly. We feel our new service offering is comparable in actual price, but much clearer on the actual cost of continued long term use. We dont plan to offer a one time owned license at present but if there is enough feedback from the community we would look into it, we are trying to regain trust and we are open to any suggestions that will help in that goal.
  6. Hello Stevea, We have just responded to your ticket, sorry for the delay on this, just for everyone else reference this ticket was submitted at 03:00am GMT and we have just responded which is significantly longer than we would like as we have been able to respond to tickets. With a current average of 2 hours 47 mins (average since september)the reason for the delay was today happened to be our xmas preparation day so we may need to cater more time for this in the future to improve on this. It appears you have paid twice, of which both have been refunded yet we have still enabled your service to give you the opportunity to review the modules if you so wish.. Both payments require explicit permission from paypal to be authorised before they could of been taken, they couldn't be taken without you giving expressed permission to do so. It appears the first payment was marked by paypal internally as a risky transaction and put the payment on hold. This would prevent the invoice being marked as paid, and then a further transaction was authorised which would require explicit consent to do so (both for the original invoice). We have refunded both and we would be really grateful if you could tell us what steps were taken to cause a double payment as we want to ensure any existing or new clients have the best experience possible. Regards
  7. Greeting all, it's that time of year and we're offering a 50% lifetime discount off our module club. We have spent a lot of time the last few months updating and relaunching the site with new redeveloped modules. Using the promo code BLACKFRIDAY you can purchase both monthly and annual services at 50% off for the lifetime of your purchase. Follow the link: https://whmcsmoduleshop.com/cart.php?promocode=BLACKFRIDAY to auto apply the promo code to your cart.
  8. We have noticed recently quite a large range of composer packages we would like to use in our modules require a more up to date version of guzzle. obviously we have found installing them causes issues. Mainly it appears WHMCS uses guzzle on the update check. I haven’t found anywhere else yet. as it appears to be in very little use. Is there any chance this could be considered for an update in the next release.
  9. We have just released a very small patch release 1.2.1 which resolves a possible activation error on some systems: https://whmcsmoduleshop.com/changelog/121

  10. Hello All, The module shop has been re launched. We are very sorry for the previous experience you have had with the module shop. Please get in touch so we can explain the changes and deal with any outstanding issues if not already solved. Existing clients will of received access to 12 months free on the new module shop service which contains brand new redevelopments of the old modules (some are still being developed). This is a no obligation period where you can use any combination of modules you want to try and regain some trust with the WHMCS community. We are fully aware this will be a long (if at all possible) process but we are trying our best. As some have detailed and can be found in the introductory blog post we have a significantly enlarged team now (3 developers and multiple support operators). This was the biggest failing previously which we are fully aware of and if given the chance we are hoping to rectify. We 100% understand the negativity, all that we can do and will do is deliver a better service with the module shops better backing now in place. We also understand those who no longer want to take a chance on us, we once again can only apologies for that. If you give us the chance we would love the opportunity to restore any faith. But if not please just let us know and we will close/delete your account. We really hope the community will accept our apology and we will be aiming to reward that with significantly improved products, communication and support. Regards The Module Shop Team
  11. Hello All, As easy hosting has mentioned yes the module shop has been re launched. For those existing clients that are confused or worried about the emails being received yesterday and today sorry about that. We have been sending emails out over the past few weeks and months detailing whats been happening and what to expect. But it does appear some users havent seen or received those preparation emails. Just to clarify, your legacy modules are still available for you download (all open sourced), if you dont know the location of those downloads just open a ticket with us and we will direct you correctly. The new account/service emails you have received are simply us trying to make a mends for the significant lack of support or communication over the last few years. Existing clients will of received access to 12 months free on the new service which contains brand new redevelopments of the old modules (some are still being developed).
