  1. Yes, but depending on how this module does with the community we may develop additional ones for other API's ie. LimeStone, etc.
  2. Personally I believe $10/mo. is a pretty good deal when you figure in time saved and convince this module provides for hosts utilizing Softlayer. With that said we may change the price up or down from the quotes I gave when it is released. Please keep the questions coming, we need your input!
  3. Eventually this module will let you do everything that you can do in the Softlayer Portal without leaving WHMCS (So long as the Softlayer API allows). As mentioned above we will also be implementing a client side to this module to allow your clients control over their servers hosted with you at Softlayer.
  4. Nothing has been set in stone yet as far as pricing. Right now we're floating around yearly licensing at $100/yr or you can opt for monthly at $10/mo($120/yr). We may even do a "Owned" option were you can just pay for support and updates, it just isn't confirmed. Keep the questions coming!!!
  5. Great question! Currently no, but that will be in the works for v2.
  6. Well here it is, finally a full featured Softlayer module: "Softlayer Management" for WHMCS. We are currently looking for a few beta testers that have multiple servers and/or uncommon hardware/services at Softlayer. If you're interested please post in the thread and private message me your current setup at Softlayer. Beta testers will receive a free year license when "Softlayer Management" is released to the public. Below are a few screenshots for those that are curious as to it's current appearance.
  7. We did back when we first started out, but only for a couple weeks until we got a real merchant account. At that time they had problems here and there, hopefully they're not like that anymore.
  8. Authorize.net is one of the best IMO. Using Quantum gateway from CDG Commerce though and so far so good.
  9. I too am missing the left menu on the summary page, but I like everything else in the alternative template.
  10. Glad to see this will be going into 3.6.1 I have several customers that have muliple accounts, and some with the same e-mail for one reason or another.
  11. You are trying to access the Softlayer API from a server within the Softlayer network those that are getting the blank screen correct?
  12. It's been changed I just found out in version 3.6 #211 New Feature Prevent Add Funds if the user has no active orders Implemented Guess I can just upgrade now
  13. Actually I now believe they may have ordered first, and that order was marked as fraud. They then used that same client account to "Add Funds" and then placed another order which was marked as fraud as well, but the invoice ended up paid using the funds that where added and the account was created server side.
  14. Perhaps someone could test that have the tools available to them in creating an order that would be marked fraud and then attempt adding funds to said client account to see if it is then created. I'm going to do some playing around myself and report back.
  15. We had an order placed that was flagged as fraud. The customer tried ordering again and it was marked as fraud. They then used e-gold to "Add Funds" and an invoice was paid and the account auto created. The account was still set as fraud in WHMCS but was created anways. This is was appears to have happened through my investigating.
  16. Rocks is an understatement
  17. This would be a nice feature, maybe someone can create an addon.
  18. cPanel allows the seperation of MySQL and DNS but I believe all the other services (http, mail, etc) are on the same machine unless you do some further customization.
  19. We use cPanel and have had issues with it, but after testing a few others I would still recommend it. After you learn the ropes any problems you run across are easy to fix.
  20. I agree, plus it's typically faster to find the answer yourself rather than waiting for a reply to a forum post.
  21. Question, those of you that have this problem. What are your PC's specifications? CPU, RAM, HD, etc.
  22. They could get a datacenter and not drop the price while keeping the current service and I'd be more than happy.
  23. The fact that they rent, SoftLayer themselves I have a feeling will be around for a very long time. They're doing things other Datacenters WILL NOT do, and they're doing it without pressure from thier customers even. I believe they're paving the highway other companies will drive down.
