Interesting, I hadn't noticed this but I would have to agree with you. Having seperate billing and account information would be nice.

Appears to run on a fairly fresh installation of WindowsXP+SP2 & updates. If you're not logged into WHMCS the majority of the time doing something and/or have a mail client that alerts you of new mail then I'd highly recommend this based on what I've seen. It should help assist you in being on top of things and improve customer service. Keep up the good work!

We don't bother tracking the accounts created by resellers via WHM in WHMCS. The resellers track and take care of the accounts they create in thier own billing software if any.

I guess we'll see what the WHMCS team decides to do if anything.

Are you doing business ? This is the way the world works. There is the reseller program already so, in the reseller program, they sell at a discount price and they are already "handing cash out" for the reseller to be able to make money. I'm aware of how an affiliate program works. I was just saying it's going to be less money going towards them. I guess it just depends on how blood thirsty everyone is, and just how much they think they should recieve for promoting something that basically sells itself.

Maybe bump up the price of the software to compensate for the affiliate commision? If they're handing out cash for referrals that's just that much less going to the team.

We have root login ssh disabled on our machines and haven't ever noticed any ill effects with WHMCS due to this.

Enabled, why make your customers go through hell to cancel? I know there's a few companies I'll never do business with again just because it was a pain in the a** to cancel.

I believe what I did was created a new client and then added a new hosting account to that client. After that I just filled in the cPanel/WHM details but didn't create the account itself on the server since it was already present. Maybe someone else can clearify a little as it's been a while since I've had to do this.

For 10% of the amount, I'll convert MoneyBookers over to PayPal.

I don't know if 2 licenses would count if you where where only getting 1 license. That doesn't sound fair, but maybe the value of 1 license as some kind of discount for 1 whmcs license.

I've had this issue as well, a customer's city was Mile' and it rejected it until I removed the ' from the name.

Was just wondering if anyone has implemented IDevAffiliate into WHMCS so far and could shed some light on how they did so.
