  1. Don't suppose anyone managed to get to the bottom of this? We have also had it with at least one client. No reason for the deletion, nothing in logs or emails, card not due to expire until July 21 and nothing in the activity log. Anyone get anywhere in finding the cause? TIA.
  2. Has anyone had any issues with this again at the end of this month? I have had a load of invoices go out as it seems the overage settings we have had in place have been overwritten - I am manually resetting them but wanted to check if anyone else had seen the same?
  3. Hi all, I am sorry if this is posted in the wrong location or if there is already a post about this (I searched and couldn't find anything). I use the WHMCS Sales Tax Liability report each month to show me all sales for the month, tax rates, tax charged etc and this works perfectly well for my accounting except for the fact that it does not give me the information I need for reporting deferred income so I am looking for some advice on how others handle this for accounting purposes. So for example, say the accounting year runs Jan to Dec. I have a client who purchases hosting and pays for it on an annual pre-pay basis in November 2015. For accounting purposes, only Nov / Dec charges would be reported in 2015 reporting year and Jan - Oct would be reported in the following accounting year. On the client invoice it shows 'Domain Renewal - ******* - 2 Year/s (01/11/2015 - 31/10/2017) so I can see if I view the invoice that I report 2 months in this year and the rest is carried forward. This information doesn't seem to be displayed on any of the WHMCS reports though and so unless it is obvious what term the charge is for, I have to manually check the invoice and record the duration which is time consuming and tedious. Does anyone else find themselves in this position? I feel there must be a simple way to do this as this is a widely used package and many hosts / registrars offer annual hosting and multi year domain renewals so I am surprised that no-one else has posted about it. In basic terms, I would like the Sales Tax Liability report to show another field with the details from the Invoice description to be included - in a perfect world I would like the report to be able to have a separate field for duration (1 month, 1 year, 2 years etc which is of course recorded within WHMCS) and to / from date but I don't want to be greedy I hope this makes some semblance of sense - it is not the easiest to explain so please do tell me if I need to clarify somewhat. Thanks in advance
  4. My only question with this John, if you don't mind clarifying for me - if a customer has ticked Disable Auto Renewal for domains, WHMCS does not create an invoice and so I assume there would be no payment reminder email to be sent out? Any thoughts on how to get around this situation? Thanks in advance
  5. Great. I have had to do it manually this time around as I had to get the info to accountant but will definitely sort it out soon then. Thanks for your advice.
  6. Hi, I am not sure if anyone here is able to help but my accountant has requested that I provide a list of all sales showing the billing cycle and I cannot see any way to generate this via the existing reports in WHMCS? What I actually need is a report with the following fields but also including Billing Cycle: Invoice ID Client Name Invoice Date Date Paid Subtotal Credit Tax Tax Rate Total Payment Method Is this something anyone is able to help with? I am hoping it would be a nice simple one that would save me hours going through and checking all of the transactions individually. Thanks in advance
  7. Openmind - did you get a reply from eNom regarding the charges? I ask because I spoke with them last night and they confirmed that nothing their end is changing therefore once a domain passes the expiry date, it is renewable at the standard amount until it goes into redemption (I was worried they were going to add a fee during this time too). Hopefully you have the same information though as otherwise I will have to check with them again. Thanks
