neobug103
I have multiple people reporting that paypal wants them to pay the full amount of the original price for the product. Althought he issue is that they are using a coupon code and that coupon code applies the discount to the invoice, but paypal wants full payment (which costs more than the actual invoice amount). I have looked at the paypal links myself clicking from the invoice and I have verified this is an issue. Anybody else experiencing the same issue?

neobug103
Here are two screenshots I made. The first one is a screenshot of the invoice with the discount applied to it. The second one is a screenshot of what I see when I click the 'paypal subscribe' button.
neobug103
I got a response from whmcs, they gave: In order for this to work you will need to disable the Modify Subscriptions option in Setup > Payment Gateways. PayPal have seen fit to make the modify subscription feature incompatible with the trial period feature (which you need to use). Unfortunately until PayPal change this there is nothing we can do. Adding a little note to the modify subscription button about this wouldn't hurt so this doesn't happen to other people
Administrators WHMCS John Posted December 7, 2009 Administrators Share Posted December 7, 2009 It is in the docs though: http://wiki.whmcs.com/PayPal#Modify_Subscriptions
Greenix
Oops, it just happened to me with a new customer. How embarassing. I told him a little box probably didn't get checked - oh how right I was. I hope this works.
