mikelegg
I've made a custom version of the web hosting welcome email to use with Plesk accounts but when I try to test it by sending it via the "Send Message" form at the bottom of the client product screen WHMCS displays a blank page and the email is not sent. The message doesn't appear the Email Message Log. The standard (cPanel) welcome emails work fine, but the custom ones don't. Has anyone ever encountered this before? PS I'm using Version: 4.1.1 Edited November 12, 2009 by mikelegg Added WHMCS Version
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 12, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 12, 2009 This means that the email contains invalid syntax somewhere. Read the sticky thread for information on how to debug: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=21317
mikelegg
Thanks John, I was wondering how to debug WHMCS. With the error messages enabled, I found the problem very quickly. Some css style definitions had somehow found their way into my template HTML (probably via cutting and pasting from the other template) and the curly braces were being interpreted as variable delimiters.
