ddg8176
I have an Enom Domain Syncronisation cron job that runs every day. I imported a test account from my WHM. When the account imported the domain dates were zeroed out. I assumed that the EDS would sync the correct dates from eNom into WHMCS. This morning after I received my EDS Report email I checked the test account and the domain dates were still zeroed out. I'm confused with what EDS is syncing. I can't seem to easily find any information about it in Documentation... Can anyone enlighten me on this feature and how to properly utilize it or point me to information about? Best regards.
scurrell
Have you made sure that Enom is selected as the registrar on the domains' properties page in WHMCS?
ddg8176
I have eNom as my registrar and my username and password are entered. On my test account domain tab (I think) I saw an error that says the domain name is already registered... which it is... to me. I'm not wanting register the domain like a new order, just import it from WHM. Yesterday morning my Enom Domain Syncronisation report was blank BUT this morning's reported this: Enom Domain Sync Report---------------------------------------------------Error for mydomain.com: Domain name not found I'd really like to know what EDS is syncing... Is it setting domain information from eNom to WHMCS? Is it trying to set up domains from WHMCS to eNom? My thing is I don't know how to use EDS correctly because I don't know what it's purpose is. Also, my test account that I imported from WHM has had two invoices generated for it... one the night I imported it and another last night. I suspect another one will be generated tonight. How can I imported accounts WHM without having un-needed invoiced generated? Best regards,
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 9, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 9, 2009 That suggests the domain is not registered in your eNom account.
ddg8176
The domain was registered with eNom. I know it is because I manually registered a year or two ago. I just checked my registrar settings in WHMCS to make sure my account user name was typed correctly and it was... but while I was in Domain Registrars I noticed a link for Other Settings that has nameserver fields. Mine were set to ns1.yourdomain.com and so on... I don't know if that would affect my sync or not but I changed them to my real domain nameservers. Also, not sure if this would affect anything either but the domain for my test account is currently up for auto renewal with eNom.
ddg8176
One more thing... My eNom account is through my reseller hosting account. Not sure if that would affect anything either.
