silentkiller
Hi, I'm facing a serious problem here where some of the invoices are generated on time but they were not sent. I checked on the email logs on the 'Emails' tab of the Client Profile page but there were no past records of the invoice being sent. Any idea why? Please advise.

silentkiller
Hi John, Invoices were generated but there were no records of them being sent. Can you advise? This is occurring randomly so we do not know where to resolve this. Could it be because the cron's load too heavy?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 5, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 5, 2009 So what do you see in the activity log? It should be: 2009/11/05 00:00 Email Sent to Client (Invoice Notification) System 2009/11/05 00:00 Created Invoice - Invoice ID: 1234 System

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 6, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 6, 2009 This error message indicates that your mail server has been changed to not allow emails to be sent from an address which doesn't exist. Check the email set in General Settings > Email Address and General Settings > Mail > System Emails From Email are both pop3 accounts which exist on your mail server
silentkiller
Hello John, 'System Emails From Email' exist as a Forwarder on our cPanel. Can you advise how come it works when I sent the invoice manually? Thank you.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 6, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 6, 2009 You'll need to check with your server admin, but a forwarder might not be enough. A full email account might be necessary.
silentkiller
Hello John, But it seems like sometimes the Invoice email do get through, while sometimes it doesn't. Any idea? I'm monitoring this closely.
