Question

Hi Guys

I am planning on starting my own web hosting company. Currencly, I'm working on a website for that company.

I need a complete, easy-to-use system for my clients and their suppose issues. that is why I am here. To start with I have a couple of questions .. so here goes:

1) In order to get WHMCS, do I first have to have a full, XHTML/CSS valid website ?

2) After purchasing WHMCS, would you guys help in installing the WHMCS system and integrate it into my website ?

I would greatly appreciate answers to these questions and other that might follow.

Thank You.

Ciwan

I would complete the bulk of your site first and then order WHMCS when you need to start integrating it. Bear in mind that you will need to insert various items of integration code where appropriate anyway for 'Order' buttons and such like so you may need WHMCS sooner rather than later. Especially if you plan do do a nice job of integrating WHMCS into your site as there will be a bit of work to do to finish that. Having said that, a basic header footer integration is only really a 30 minute job at most.

Also bear in mind that setting up WHMCS and testing it thoroughly before going live needs a sensible time allowance. I'd allow a minimum a week for that not that the work will take that long but so that there is time for any errors to show up and get fixed.

Also, having WHMCS will inspire your site design in a way that it would not if it wasn't available for you to play with.

There is a lot to be said for just ordering WHMCS now and going for it as the cost of one month's licence is peanuts and you need to get your hands on it as soon as you can.

Hope that answers your question?
