sheep04835
Is it possible to give clients a free subdomain (manually done through the admincp for now) so they can get their website sorted before setting up their own domain? If so, how?
othellotech
so they can get their website sorted before setting up their own domain? not really, "temporary" methods exist for them accessing the content by FTP (control panel and security settings dependant) - for example using the IP the problem is some CP's dont allow the "hosted domain" to be changed, others keep all the content per domain separate, so anything they'd uploaded/configured woudl be scrapped/missing etc.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 18, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 18, 2009 If you're using cPanel/WHM then it is possible.
sheep04835
It doesn't matter. Gmail was marking all the emails as spam so I didn't know it sent out a temporary address. I can just use that.
