Syfonic
I am interested in setting up some type of server rotating feature. For example, I want to set my each of my servers to be able to have 100 accounts each. Once one server is full, WHMCS should start assigning new accounts to the next server. Is anything like this possible?
jozeph
I think that already implemented. I've requested on pass something to increase this feature... I will love to see a 'load balance' server account creation based on number of present accounts on each server from the same group. For example, if there is 100 users in one server and 99 in other one, whmcs will choose 99 server to create the next account.

othellotech
Although basing your server-deployment choice based on a simple count can be useful for keeping you within any licencing restrictions you have, its a meaningless method beyond that IME. I *believe* WHMCS deploys onto whichever server you hav selected as the "default" until the count is exhausted then moves onto the next server in line.
jozeph
Yes, but a balance is a great implementation, because you can distribute users between servers from the same group.
SilverNodashi
WHMCS doesn't support this feature (yet?) So, what I've done was to set a limit on each server ( in Settings > Servers > Limits) of say 100 / 200 (whatever you want), then then use one server up, till it's full and then change all packages to use the next server. To further balance it out, I've set each package onto a different "group" of servers. So, some packages (normally the 2 cheaper ones) will fill their list of server quicker, whereas the less popular ones will take longer to fill them up. BUT, I'd love to see a feature in WHMCS where this could be done automatically, and I really miss this feature from Modernbil.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 17, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 17, 2009 You know we don't set exact release dates so there's no disappointment if we don't hit it.
thehost5968
But a Road map doe not need to have release dates but just a guid on what you are thinking of putting in it as some of us may be doing custom work on are own site that may just be a wast of are time if it may be in the next version?
