Question about mass mailing

Recommended Posts

I was going to send my first mass mailing to my customers and I noticed that all of their names and emails are listed in the To: box.

I need clarification. Does that mean . . .

(a) that a message is sent with everyone listed in the To: line?

or

(b) that an individual message is sent to each customer with only their email address in the To: line?

I really need to know this before sending any mass mailing to my customers. Could someone please clarify for me?

Best wishes,

Rae

a mass email is sent to everyone you chose to send to, but these are sent individual so only the single receipients name will appear in the To: line, so each client will not know of any of your other clients

 Geez, okay, I should have read the docs better.

From the Wiki:

Please Note: When composing the email you will see the full list of clients matching your selected criteria in the To field. This is so you can review who will be receiving it but each email is sent individually and so the receiver will not see any other client's addresses in the To field of the copy they receive.

Thanks, guys.
