Daniel
I assume the old dev tracker is no longer updated ( http://dev.whmcs.com/ ) - It'd be nice to be able to see what has been fixed or upcoming in future versions, any plans to bring the tracker back?
scurrell
Was thinking the very same thing only this morning.

eugenevdm
My speculation is having something like a Dev Tracker puts too much pressure on WHMCS to deliver things which may or may not happen in the future. They have to constantly listen to people nagging about when what will be done and how important this and that priority is. This kind of disrupts the whole development process and probably the karma of their development team. Please note this is only my opinion, I also liked the Dev Tracker but as a part-time developer I can potentially see some frustration. Perhaps just a basic roadmap of where WHMCS is going will be nice. Then again, so far I have never been disappointed by any release of WHMCS...
Daniel
Maybe it would be better to just have a list of new features/fixes that have already been done to the next version. That way there's no pressure as they're already implemented and we know what's coming.
redrat
I'm sure this information blackout generates even more frustration for WHMCS staff when customers, who's own staff are frustrated, are left to flounder around in the dark without knowing what on earth is going on. It is especially frustrating that individuals who have raised tickets to address specific issues receive fixes but those fixes are not made available to the rest of the community in some easily accessible form so that we might benefit from them ourselves. There are times when this can lead to resentment when it is such an easy service to provide.
