lukewd
We have updated to WHMCS 5.2.3 and have multiple currencies in our system. USD is the base currency. Whenever a client buys anything in any other currency, it processes the right amount, but then it records the incorrect amount in WHMCS. For example, I placed an order for something that costs 300 ZAR. This gets submitted off to the payment gateway, and the payment gateway deducts 300 ZAR. However, according to my WHMCS invoice, the transaction shows only been R33.66 ZAR paid. R33.66 ZAR multiplied by the conversion ratio of 8.9 to USD, equals out to the original 300 ZAR value. The invoice obviously shows as not being fully settled with an outstanding amount of 266.34 ZAR. Somewhere along the line, it seems as if WHMCS is converting everything to the base currency (USD) even though it processes the correct amount in the correct currency on the gateway. Is this a problem with the new WHMCS, or with the MiGS module?
Benoit
Have you set the Convert to setting in the Gateway configuration?
lukewd
Not for the MiGS gateway.... We seemed to have managed to fix this just by switching 3DSecure back on. However, there are definitely some bugs going on here...
Benoit
Ok so it's happening with the non-3DSecure. I will check this.
lukewd
Yes, exactly. we just came to that conclusion too. We have noticed it also affects american express payments which don't even support 3dsecure... with or without convert for processing switched on.
Benoit
I have found the bug. I will send you the new module by email.
lukewd
Does anyone have any experience with what issuing banks (or BIN numbers) that do not support 3D Secure? We have a lot of legitimate American clients who can't submit payment, and we think they are getting blocked by 3D Secure. It seems 3D secure is not very common place in america, and we should probably be disabling it for those banks which do not support it. Is there a list of supporting banks? How does it work if a bank doesn't support 3D secure, but we are trying to enforce it with our MiGs module?

isaia
Hi there need some help regarding MiGS setup please i see in description that it supports commonwealth bank but i can not say it is 100% true or maybe i do not understand it properly. I have a merchant account with commonwealth (comweb) i have asked comweb to provide me with details needed by benoit's module (i have purchase it 100$) the bank sent me to a company paymentexpress.com.au (payment gateway) they support WHMCS no need to purchase any extra MIGS modules. now i am confused and not sure why i payed the 100$ on the MIGS module unless benoit's module is supposed to interface whmcs with payment gateway not with comweb (paymentexpress.com.au (payment gateway) is not commonwealth related just another payment gateway preferred by commonwealth) Benoit's module does not come with much documentation and support is days away, so if someone has successfully set it up and can share his setup it would be much appreciated (accounts needed + who is providing what information to be used by this module + process / way to use it), as i am sure i get it wrong somewhere or things have changed regarding commweb (commonwealth bank) Any help much appreciated.
Snowman
Commweb are a confusing bunch and they run several legacy gateways of their own and also outsource some to other providers my understanding is that the module does not work with their gateways unless you specifically register with them as a MIGS Gateway merchant and from what i understand is most on their merchant line dont even know it exists...
Crashtest
Hi Benoit, I just recently purchased your software. Nowhere on you site Fody Technologies does it have a Contact area, other than opening a Ticket. I was looking for a Help area and there is no FAQ Section and the knowledge base has Nothing. As for the Search for the following Question, nothing comes up: Really simple question: After Purchase of the MIGS Module - How log will it take before I can Download it? As there is Nothing appearing in the Download Section. I would assume that MIGS is in REAL TIME so we should not have to wait for a payment to clear. DO I JUST SUBMIT ASUPPORT TICKET for this question? Await you Answer, Regards, Wayne
wsa
Hi Benoit, DO I JUST SUBMIT ASUPPORT TICKET for this question? I think that the best way to do email them
Crashtest
I think that the best way to do email them Hi Benoit, I noticed in the FIRST original Post the question asked was about being directed to UNPAID invoice when a Client purchases and uses the wrong credit card. I have installed the MIGS Gateway and all seems to be working OK. I am now doing Tests as per the Commonwealth Bank Test Card they issue which has different error codes to test. Apparently I have to do at least 20 tests before they will let it go live!!! What I See when a Transaction is ACCEPTED is a Congratulations screen - Perfect it Works. When Testing the Error Codes for declined, card expired etc, I am shown an Invoice Screen with UNPAID at the top. There does not seem to be an error screen show up or an explanation for the Customer that they have entered the wrong card number, wrong CSC, insufficient funds etc. Is there something I have not turned on or enabled in the module, Or WHMCS? hashkent
What is the Commonwealth banks product for MIGS? I got referred to PaymentExpress.com.au too but I don't want to pay a payment provider additional fees.

Tazmanian
Could anyone tell me if this module still works with the current version of WHMCS & Commweb?
Tazmanian
For people who have purchased this previously, how long did you have to wait before you could download it?
seanwhiteau
A word of caution for anyone who is considering purchasing this from the Indian company "Fody Technologies". The plugin no longer works with Bendigo Bank as they now use a new system named "MPGS", but Fody Technology has made no effort (as of the date of this post) to change this in their advertising. I purchased it three weeks ago thinking that it would work with the Bendigo Bank as it claimed. I then waited 7 days without receiving a response on his support site when I asked if it was going to be updated. They took a week to actually provide the software after I had paid for it and gave me no contact at all. I only received a reply about it not working when I finally complained to PayPal about this purchase because it didn't look like I was ever going to hear back. Fody Technologies begrudgingly replied: "You will understand that we cannot be responsible if your bank changes gateway platform and no longer support the previous one that they were using. This said, we would be happy to develop a gateway module for MPGS for a seperate fee however we would be unable to refund you the cost for the MiGS gateway module as this module has been delivered and is working fine with other banks using the MiGS gateway." (So to paraphrase "yeah sure it doesn't work for your bank, but you're not getting your money back because we don't care but pay us more money if you like") Needless to say, PayPal refunded me this money because Fody Technology claimed (and still claims) that their payment gateway works with Bendigo Bank. I would suggest that you would be well advised to look elsewhere. I'm going with SecurePay Au, which is already inbuilt into WHMCS, and is through Australia Post. Had Fody Technology been honest and just refunded me, I would have just though it was just unfortunate, but trying to keep my money - well, you can draw your own conclusions.
