risrik
Hi, I'm new to WHMCS and was just wondering what everyone calls their main folder. Right now I've got it as 'billing' but started wondering if that isn't the best choice since there are support features like the knowledgebase and support tickets, as well as ordering products and services like hosting, digital certs, and domains. I noticed the front page has a title tag of 'Support'. Is billing a good choice or is something else, like 'support', or 'clients'? Just not sure and would appreciate your thoughts!
joe123
most are calling it clients or billing from what i have seen till now , clients is a good choice for the support section and the order process as well
cafreamoroso
i use secure.domain.com
247hosting.co.nz
Hmm, Im real great then, I just use the folder name whmcs ;-) works fine for us.

BAJI26
We don't use a folder. Neither do we.
risrik
Those who aren't using a folder must be restyling the template I suppose? I do agree Joe123 that 'clients' is better than billing.
uberhost
Those who aren't using a folder must be restyling the template I suppose? Yes, though it isn't necessary. We have a permanent redirect from uberhost.net to uberhost.net/home.php, our company's home page. Even though we use WHMCS as our CMS, you don't have to. Just put whatever you want on your home page and then link to index.php for the WHMCS home.
ChrisGooding
We have re-named it to services.... it just seems a little more fitting, as after all, when accessing that section of our site the client does indeed have access to a number of 'services'.
SteveV
We use "welcome".
Daniel
We use clients.domain.co.uk I've seen my.domain.co.uk which is quite good too.
DataHosts
hmmm...is this not a security risk? I mean.....this thread is like a hacker dream come true. Yes, it is easy to get this information when visiting you site, but basically each of you has let me know your site and structure. I would not have went to any of your sites prior, but now you just made it easier for a hacker....IMO

DataHosts
Yes...I stated this in my post. I was just saying that this thread has 10 users (estimate) that show they use WHMCS and the folder location. It is on rare occasion that a hacker would hit these same 10 websites out of the blue, but this thread just has them listed. Again..not saying there are any security holes in WHMCS.

DataHosts
I am speaking about those who mention the folder and have their website listed in thier signature or in the post.

juiced
We use billing, it fits with the rest of our site, cause it's so large (the rest of the site is also sectioned i.e. /hosting /domains /internet, so /billing just seems like natural)
