twilightwebdesign
Hey, I've tried adding to DNS servers to whmcs server status. The HTTP, FTP and POP3 update correctly. But it says 'Not Available' on the server load and uptime. Anyone know whats wrong for it to display this. The status script is on both dns servers and the details are all correct on the whmcs admin server area. Thanks, Matt

eugenevdm
Joe, Update your official documentation on "WHMCS does not provide a method to get the uptime or load for a Windows server". From what I can see it's here: http://wiki.whmcs.com/Servers#Status_Monitoring and here: http://wiki.whmcs.com/Common_Troubleshooting_Tips#Server_load.2C_uptime_and_phpinfo_always_say_Unavailable_or_00:00:00 No mention made in either of these two articles of Windows servers and the fact that you can't see uptime or load.
laszlof
It probably would not be very difficult to write the applicable changes into the status page. Its not encoded, and its a fairly simply process.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 6, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 6, 2010 Status monitoring allows you to view the load and uptime for each of your linux based servers from within the WHMCS client/admin area. http://wiki.whmcs.com/Servers#Status_Monitoring
eugenevdm
It probably would not be very difficult to write the applicable changes into the status page. Its not encoded, and its a fairly simply process. Not as straightforward as it seems. The widely quoted Windows uptime "net use statistics" script that is quoted here elsewhere on the forum has some heavy date format dependencies and the CPU load some heavy permissions issues. Much simpler for Linux I guess because but a real pity no current solution "easy" exists because there is a high demand.
