Wildcard in spam phrases

Hi,

Not sure if I am setting this correct, but we are seeing a very large amount of spam hitting us, there only factor they all share is the fav blabla.* (this shows in the ticket as a URL)

I have tried adding just * to the blocked phrases, but this still came through, so I then tried *.* but we are still getting these on the system. We can add the entire url as the part before blogpot is always different. as is the sender address also they are all coming from different IP's.

Any way I can block these?

Cheers in advance.

Best way is to block it before it hits WHMCS. Simply add a filter in cPanel (assuming that's your CP) that looks for that "*" in the body and filter on it. Don't know about you, but I don't get any mail with that in the body that's valid. If you're worried about it catching the odd message that's valid, filter them into a spam mailbox and check them on occasion.

Either way, it's keeping them out of your ticket system.
