Michael Biddle
I purchased the branding removal. Now do I need to download it again and reupload files, or do I take it out of a template? I have not received anything saying what I should do. Thanks in advanced.
bear
This is done automatically from the WHMCS licensing server and requires no changes from your end.
Michael Biddle
Awesome. About how long does it take?
bear
Offhand I don't know, but when I bought it (during UK business hours, IIRC) it was pretty quick. An hour or so? Your mileage may vary.
Chrisw
At times you may need to use the license key changer to reapply the license. This will force a connection to the licensing server. Of course this will only work if the upgrade has been applied to the license key.
ask21900
I have previously asked the same question, and I was told: It may take up to a week before your system refreshes the license. However, as Chris stated, you can force an update. You do this by going to the help menu and clicking on change license info. Then re-enter your original license info.
ukdeveloper
Does the branding removal just remove the whmcs link at the footer of each page or the main header too? I purchased the unbranded and notice the link in the footer has gone, which I guess it had to, but how do I insert my own header? Cheers Carl.
chickendippers
Edit the template. The customisation section of the manual (http://v3manual.whmcs.com/) has plenty of info.

bear
You can already remove the WHMCS logo(s). The branding free option simply removes the powered by link in all clientarea pages. Open a ticket to request this, and I'm sure they will help you straight away.
lynnette
You can replace all the WHMC logos with your own in the templates, its only the small link at the bottom of the pages that you need to pay to remove.
wpeters
question i have is, where do you order that? id like to remove whmcs logos *no offense to the software, i love it, i would just like to make it seem as seemless as possible* I would suggest that if you do not have the time to either complete the seemless integration into your site or the ability to do so quickly, then purchase the Integration service from WHMCS. It is only $34.95 and totally worth it, as, IMO, they do a really great job, quickly.
