Evolve Web Hosting
https://docs.whmcs.com/releases/8-13/8-13-release-notes/ Why is PHP 8.2 recommended when this version has support for PHP 8.3? Also, Isn't the Ion Cube Loader version a bit low? I have Ion Cube Loader 14.4.0 installed
slim
Documentation is a bit all over the place.. https://docs.whmcs.com/getting-started/system-requirements/ - this page has a list of the required ioncube loaders for the different versions of PHP. v 14.4.0 is required for PHP 8.3. However, I swear I saw in the documentation that 14.4.2 was required - but I can no longer find that - Perhaps they updated the documentation.

Under New Features > PHP 8.3 Support you saw this: Support for PHP 8.3 requires ionCube Loader 14.4.0. For more information, see our System Requirements. I had to slow down and re read things. You need to meet the requirements listed in the 'Upgrade Requirements' section, then upgrade to WHMCS 8.13 and then switch to PHP 8.3 and IonCube Loader 14.4.0

slim
Here is here I found that version number: @WHMCS John - Seems to be some inconsistancy in the documentation and this screen. Is it v14.0.0 we need or 14.0.2 ? Edited Monday at 11:46 PM by slim
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted yesterday at 10:42 AM WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted yesterday at 10:42 AM Hi @slim, You need Ioncube Loaders 14.4.x I will clarify the exact minor version number required, but regardless, your current Ioncube loader version is several minor versions behind. Loader version 14.0.x is too low for use with PHP 8.3 Edit: I can confirm that 14.4.0 is the minimum Ioncube Loader version we require for PHP 8.3. I've opened case WHMCS-22025 to make sure the PHP Version Compatibility page reflects this.
