Ticket mail import log column display issue

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Ticket importing is working fine but when we check the support ticket mail import log, the only thing we see is the date and our dept email address. The 'date' and 'To' fields. We thought there was a bigger issues but it turns out, that the subject, status and view columns are there but the 'to' field has pushed them far to the right (the 'to' field is expanded). Only ticket mail import log affected.

Seems like a simple issue but can anyone tell me how to fix this and what could be causing it. Just updated to latest WHMCS version. I'm thinking it could be a hook and am checking but posting here in case I'm unsuccessful.

Thanks

Edit: Disabled all hooks and it did not fix the issue.

Well, i guess it was a simple issue lol. Cleared the logs and sent a test ticket. Columns display fine now. No expert but maybe one of those spam emails that are sent to hundreds off cc email addresses didn't wrap correctly. But glad to see the issue is resolved.

@WHMCS John or any WHMCS staff, is this something that can be fixed in the next update as again we received an email with tons of cc addresses and the addresses in the log do not wrap but instead are all displayed in a single line that pushes the fields all the way to the right.

Thanks

Hi @SamS1,

Can you share a screenshot of one of the problematic entries please?

Hi @WHMCS John

Thank you for responding. I'll try to get a screenshot but it will be hard. But to explain better (hopefully), normally when you check the 'ticket mail import log' the columns for date, To, subject, status and view are nicely displayed and no horizontal scrolling is needed.

Example:

Date | To | Subject | Status | View

But when you receive a spam email with tons of CC'd email addresses, the 'To' field is displaying all of those email addresses on the same line so the 'To' field gets expanded and requires a lot of horizontal scrolling to see the other fields.

Example:

Date |                                                                                                                                            To                                                                                                                                                                               | Subject | Status | View

Only way to fix it is to clear the logs but of course it then happens again as soon as one of those spammy emails come in.

Hopefully that explains it better but if not I can try to screenshot it

Thanks
