Hi @mikeos,

I placed an order using v8.12.1 and observed that a new customer is not charged by the PayPal Payments module when encountering a validation error on the checkout page.

The Module Log shows the createorderrequest action with the error response "PAYER_ACTION_REQUIRED":

When a client's PayPal account is charged, there is a capturepaymentrequest action. As this isn't present in this scenario; the client has not been charged.

Hello again,

Sorry but you're wrong. This triggers a payment from the client to PayPal, but not to WHMCS as no account or anything gets created. This means if a customer is trying to order multiple times without adding a state, they get charged multiple times.

Hi @mikeos,

This isn't behaviour we've been able to replicate on our side or received any other reports about from other users. Therefore it's not something that's currently being worked on.

Please use a real PayPal account and you will instantly be able to replicate it.

This is true I got this from some of my clients who sent me screenshots that they were charged. I need to tell them to contact PayPal. I don't see this on my Paypal account or whmcs
