Chad
The default vps/dedicated server group order process asks the client (by default) for their choice of ns1/ns2 nameservers, hostname and root password. This becomes a confusion / issue when servers are sold as self managed unless they order server management. Is there anyway to disable these fields?

chickendippers
You can just remove them from the orderform template.

This becomes a confusion / issue when servers are sold as self managed unless they order server management. Is there anyway to disable these fields? Why? Even with manages servers, don't you still need this info to setup the RDNS? OR do you have a facility where your clients can setup their own RDNS? And surely you need to assign a server name & root password to when you setup the OS, or do you give them a blank server with KVM over IP, and they need to install the OS themselves?
