TerrasIOI
People, Does anyone had problems with PayPal payments yesterday and today? My client are just getting following error message: "We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com." I was calling PayPal and they told me that everything is OK with my account. WHMCS support told me that I'm not alone with this problem. Any idea on what we can do? Regards.
mrprez
I did not have that problem this morning or yesterday. Everything that was expected was paid and quickly moved into my bank account... John
TerrasIOI
I see. I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere. Paypal claims everything is OK on their end, WHMCS claims everything is OK on their end, so I don't know what to do. Thanks.
ravishg
Even I have the same problem since today morning. I had been able to receive payments till last few days and from morning onwards I'm getting this error : "We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com." Has something recently changed at PayPal ?

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 1, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 1, 2008 If you are experiencing the issue described here, the attached file should resolve it while PayPal fix the issue on their end with the usual shipping value. Needs uploading to the modules/gateways folder. Matt paypal.zip

ravishg
Hi Matt, I use the custom module with you which converts my local currency to US$ and then forwards it to the paypal. Would uploading this file break that functionality ?

Strats
Did you rename the old one and have it there? (like paypal.php.back)
ghpk
Did you rename the old one and have it there? (like paypal.php.back) yes, thanks for pointing it out. I just removed the old-paypal.php and Solved the missing list of gateway. Iam mailing a client to clear his dues, so we can check, if the update paypal.php solves the unknown error from paypal. Many thanks
ghpk
updated paypal.php to one posted by Matt, still my customer gets the same error. We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at http://www.paypal.com
