Sincerity9839
I have a reseller account [xxx_00000000xx*] on a Plesk server and I'm trying to connect it to my WHMCS instance (hosted inside Plesk), but I am receiving a generic error with the content "Error code: 1006. Error message: Permission denied." when I attempt to sync (fig. 1.1). WHMCS is able to see how many accounts I have (fig. 1.2) under the Plesk reseller account [xxx_00000000xx], I am able to sync accounts from Plesk to WHMCS (Plesk → WHMCS) and I am able to log in to Plesk via the 'Login to Control Panel' button, but when I attempt to refresh the Plesk data via the 'Refresh' button next to the server name (fig. 1.3) or the 'Refresh All Remote Data' button (fig. 1.4), I receive error code 1006 (fig. 1.1). I have checked that the Plesk API is enabled (fig. 1.5) and the reseller account [xxx_00000000xx] has access to the Remote API (fig. 1.6). What am I missing? leemahoney3
Regardless of whether your Plesk account shows the API is enabled or not, you will need to reach out to your host and confirm this with them. Also make sure your logins are correct. https://docs.whmcs.com/Plesk#1006_-_Permission_denied 1006 - Permission denied This indicates that your Plesk login doesn't have the necessary permissions to use the API. You need the server administrator to grant your Plesk reseller account the Ability to use remote API permission.
