Some extensions show "Domain Renewal Unavailable" when customers when to renew early?

I have been looking into this issue for days and can't find a cause, let a lone a solution.

For some reason, for some extensions, we are unable to renew domains early.

In the client area it shows "Domain Renewal Unavailable".

 

If I add a test domain, not even linked to a registrar, I can see that when I rename it in the admin panel from one extension to the other if changes from "Domain Renewal Unavailable".

So It must be extension related. But what?

 

I compared the fields in tblpricing and tbldomainpricing for a working and non-working extension but can't find anything strange.

For testing I even updated the records of a non-working extensions with data from a working extension but it didn't help either.

 

Are there other tables that are domain related that I should check into?

If you have custom Hooks and add on that interact with domain renewal in WHMCS, that cause the problem. Review the WHMCS log file to see any error message related to Domain Renewal are unavailable.

I can access my install at the moment but I think you can add early renewals via https://docs.whmcs.com/Additional_Domain_Fields. 
 

A registrar module can also enable it for the domains it manages (again, I think this is the case).
