Yes, but if a customer has like 30 domains that will renew this month and 20 of them have a different expiry date. Then the cusomer receives 20 invoices this month. I want to have the on a single invoice. That's why I thought that changing the duedate to the first of the month will help but you say it will reset. But maybe I can disable the option of changing the duedates and use the SQL query above? I'm unsure. And I don't want to break things.

Is there nobody who can help ?

I have customers with many domains and they complain about the fact that they receive too many invoices. They receive a single invoice for every day there's at least one domain with a different duedate in WHMCS. I have been breaking my head about this for a while now and I do wonder If I can make this work with a query like this? UPDATE tbldomains SET nextduedate=concat(year(nextduedate),'-',month(nextduedate),'-1'), nextinvoicedate=concat(year(nextinvoicedate),'-',month(nextinvoicedate),'-1'); It will change the duedate and nextinvoicedate to the first of the month. But I wonder if I can do this, will it work? Or will I break other WHMCS things by doing things like this?

I have been looking into this issue for days and can't find a cause, let a lone a solution. For some reason, for some extensions, we are unable to renew domains early. In the client area it shows "Domain Renewal Unavailable". If I add a test domain, not even linked to a registrar, I can see that when I rename it in the admin panel from one extension to the other if changes from "Domain Renewal Unavailable". So It must be extension related. But what? I compared the fields in tblpricing and tbldomainpricing for a working and non-working extension but can't find anything strange. For testing I even updated the records of a non-working extensions with data from a working extension but it didn't help either. Are there other tables that are domain related that I should check into?

Hello, Using the "Registrar TLD sync" feature we can import/update all TLD prices and set a profit margin for all TLD's. Now, we do want to give discounts to customers that have many domains with us. I haven't been able to find an option to enter discounts for a client or cliengroup? I did find the pricing slab (per TLD?) but we would have to enter all prices, for all TLD's, manually? if we were to use this, it will never update automatically using "Registrar TLD sync". So this doesn't seem like a workable solution. Isn't there any option that would allow us to enter a discount for a client/clientgroup so that this client/clientgroup gets the said discount on all TLD's? If this is not directly possible in WHMCS. Isn't there an addon, providing this feature, that you could recommend?

Okay. So, the modules garden domains reseller addon does not do this. I'm really shocked to see that WHMCS is not supporting this. It must be a feature that many people are missing, isn't it? Many of us, hosting companies, have customers that build websites and sell these (with a hosting option included) to their clients. When their client agrees, they contact us to setup a hosting package and register a domain. We give them a discount and they charge their own clients, making profit too. So far, so good. But WHMCS does not allow registering a domain for a customer with different licensee data. So we cannot register a domain for our client (=reseller) and have the correct licensee data in place. Is this normal? When we go to 'Add order' and want to add a domain ,we don't even have an option to specify licensee datails in the admin?

@brian! Does that module provide what I'm looking for? I'm not sure what exactly it offers. It seems to offer an API for registering/transfer/updating domains and a registrar module for WHMCS. So, customers could use their own WHMCS installation and register domains using that API. But I don't think it'll provide what I'm looking for, does it?

This is for adding additonal domain fields but not for asking the client to enter licensee details. Also, no registrar module won't be using these addional fields so it's not really an option?

When a client orders a domain WHMCS is always using the clients data for registering the domain. The client, however, can change contact details once the domain is in his account. The problem is: some registrars (like DNS.BE for example) do not allow changing the company name. They require an internal transfer in order to change that. So, we have resellers who want to register domains for their customers but we can't offer this trough WHMCS because is not asking for licensee data when they register a new domain. Is there a way to force WHMCS to ask for licensee data? Maybe some addon exists? The way WHMCS is working right now, it's only usable for individuals/companies that only register domains for their own use. Not for resellers.. Any advice / tips are welcome!

It turns out it was related to the setting "Store Client Data Snapshot". The invoice's snapshot didn't have the required information. I got it working now. thanks for your advice Kian

I have 4 custom fields and I want to display just one on my pdf invoices. More specifically, it's the custom field where I store the client's VAT number. I'm using the default invoicepdf.tpl right now and it doesn't display any customfield at all? I've been playing with this and I noticed that invoicepdf.tpl is using $customfields array which is empty in my case. Why ?? I thought I should use $clientsdetails["customfields"]. This array is not empty in my case but doesn't contain all custom fields. It has content of some custom fields but not all of them. I'm really stuck here. The WHMCS code is ioncube encoded so I can't check what's happening ... Please help me out. My client is complaining about the invoice. I need to have it resolved asap.

Being new to WHMCS I have a very annoying problem: Since we switched to WHMCS soms of our customers are receiving a lot of new invoices. A new invoice is generated for every domain renewal. Some customers have like 100 domains, all with a different expiry date. So the due date is different for most of these domains, meaning WHMCS is generating 100 invoices over the year, requiring the customer to do a lot of payments etc... We would like to limit the number of invoices generated by grouping multiple domain renewals to the same invoice. For example: We would like to generate only 1 invoice every first day of the month (for example). And have it group all domain renewals that would get invoiced during the coming month. How can we do that? is it possible? Or is there an addon for it?
