FutureX
The shortest duration is 1 hour for the transfer sync to fire. When a customer is transferring in a domain name it would be nice to have that happen almost immediately.
Remitur
But domain transfer is not a real-time process... It may take few minutes ( .eu), up to 24 hrs ( .it), up to 5 days ( .com )...
FutureX
Yes that is true, but before any of that can be started the CRON job has to run to get the ball rolling. There is a transfer button in the Domain tab that I can click manually to initiate the transfer right away but I would love to not have to do that manually.
Remitur
the transfer synch cron does not start the domain transfer process, but just closes it on WHMCS after the domain has been transferred. The transfer process begins just after the domain transfer order has been approved/paid
FutureX
I thought so too as to when the transfer process begins but it wasn't the case when I watched it yesterday. It was approved/paid but the transfer did not start, no movement at the registrar (ResellerClub). I had to click the "Transfer" button to get it going or wait 1 hour for the CRON job to run. There are 2 domain sync processes, the main domain sync for due dates, etc. and the transfer process. Both of which can only be set to a minimum of 1 hour intervals.
leemahoney3
Transfers are initiated once its associated order has been paid. I'd suggest enabling module logging and try to transfer another domain, check the module log once the order has been paid to see if any errors return. If not, its possible an addon or hook is playing up and causing the the order process to not complete fully. If so, check your error logs.
FutureX
Interesting. That's never been the case with me. I'll enable module logging and check it out.
