Stripe - Important updates to RBI regulations on recurring card payments in India

Hello,

Got email today about recurring card payments in India and API changes from Stripe's side, however, they also said that if using 3rd party software (like WHMCS?) some changes are required as well?

Here is documentation from stripe.com
https://support.stripe.com/questions/important-updates-to-rbi-regulations-on-recurring-card-payments-in-india

Is WHMCS going to do anything about this? How this will be handled? / addressed?

Thanks

If instead you use your own custom solution and directly call our Payment Intents and Setup Intents APIs to perform payments, we’re working to release a new set of AFA-compliant APIs for you to integrate with, which will be released later this year.

That means even if the WHMCS team is willing to work on this on priority, we need to wait for the API from Stripe.
