Using WHMCS SOLELY as an Affiliate for a Hosting company?

I'd rather not resell hosting and have to support users that require hours of help setting up email accounts.

So I'm wondering if it's possible to to change the links in WHMCS > Products/Services > Links (or some other location) so that when the client lands on my WHMCS client portal the buy now bouton is an affiliate link to my hosting company.

I mean you could do that but it could get a bit confusing, do you use whmcs for anything else or are you just looking for a way to generate traffic to somewhere to then forward it elsewhere?

Ah OK, I was going to suggest not using it abd whipping up a custom site - but if required for domains and vps it's a bit harder!

My thoughts, you have a few potential issues:

Confusion over support

Potentially annoyed customers over poor performance you can't control

Loss of sales (I'd go to somewhere I can buy together)

Personally it seems to be the worst possible thing you could do in my opinion,  however its certainly viable or you could find a company that would be willing to sell you a managed service and being the "hosting" support department (something we have for a particular specialised product - in exchange for our services) although that would be a pain in the proverbial for something as low cost as hosting

But all in all, I think you'll cause yourself more problems and lose more customers by confusing them over site changes and support! As I say, Personally I'd just not bother with website A + B if I can get everything at B
