bear
User opens a ticket, and after the initial email piped to do so, they decide to include a new person as a CC to get them into the ticket as well. WHMCS ignored that, and didn't add them at all. Before I go completely nuts looking for what I may have done wrong, is this normal? Someone can never add a new person into the ticket unless it's in the very first post/email that opens it? "Read and add carbon copy recipients from incoming emails for tickets opened via email" is checked/selected. I've looked at the docs over and over, and these scenarios are just not there that I could find.
steven99
You are correct. CCs and such are ignored and have been for a long long time. I am sure there is a request on fixing that but you know WHMCS but that long time might be enough for it to be fixed. 😉
bear
I figured, but had hope. I've taken to adding a few notes to the ticket emails that spell out the various things for clients to watch for when emailing. It's getting long. I may need to start a feature request script on my site and point them there. 😉
