Email address for Account and User(Owner)

Recommended Posts

Hi,

After upgrade from v7 as you know all account and sub-contacts was moved to Users.

But we faced an issue when the user changes his email in the Profile tab, this email address was not updated in the User tab. And the same situation if the User changes his email address in User settings, this Email doesn't update in the main Profile.

Is this logic are normal??

I understand if the user who was not an owner was changed his email, it's ok, but when the owner changes his email address why I must as a client change my email twice?

P.S. very interesting why WHMCS doesn't use this functionality on their main site ) still testing?

yes it's intended behaviour.

my original thinking of the feature was like yours, e.g if a client has an owner user, and that user is only associated with that client, you would think that changing one email address would be echoed with the other... but it's definitely not the case, they're both independent of each other.

they use a customised version of their software - they haven't updated it to match the recent public releases.
