Database Issue with 8.1.0 Upgrade (Row Size Too Large)

Hi there,

Whilst trying to upgrade WHMCS to v8.1.0 from v8.0.4, I encountered the following error:

Unable to complete incremental updates: Unable to import the 8.1.0 Alpha1 database file. Unable to import /path/to/whmcs/resources/sql/upgrade810alpha1.sql: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1118 Row size too large. The maximum row size for the used table type, not counting BLOBs, is 8126. This includes storage overhead, check the manual. You have to change some columns to TEXT or BLOBs\

I am not 100% sure how to change the text to blobs, or in what table/column I need to do this change in.

Once this error occurred, I tried to go to mywhmcs.ex/install, however the v8.1.0 install failed from there also. Eventually I just restored a db backup and re-uploaded the core WHMCS files. The aforementioned error is the only one I encountered.

Thank you in advance!

Cheers,

Jack
